While waiting for the train, or just for being near the water, it's a nice place to seat by the Hudson river.

Waterfront Park has lovely views of the Hudson River. It is accessible by train, the MetroNorth Hudson Line. Parking is limited to residents.

The Waterfront Park is a very nice place to relax and enjoy the sunset. There's a children's playground, a very small sandy "beach" area, picnic area, parking, and beautiful views up and down the Hudson River.

You can buy a daily permit at the police station, or park on the street on the northbound side and walk over the bridge to the park.

There isn't a Ferry. The town ran one many years ago ( it transported Martha Washington, I believe) but now there's a nearby bridge across the Hudson.
