Always a great time and experience at CdB Vineyard and Winey. This is a beautiful location and winery that also produces some of the best Pinot Noirs and Chards on the East End. Evie, the tasting room manager, along with her team always make you feel welcome and are just packed with knowledge of the East End. The tasting room... More

I was interested to see what the new owners of this winery had done with it, as I had visited it many times since it was opened by the Hargraves. I came away feeling very sad. Although the servers were friendly and helpful, the whole experience was very dreary. It doesn't look like the new owners have invested in the... More

My wife and I enjoyed a great tasting with Mary. Both knowledgeable and engaging about each wines in both our flights. My wife is a "white" to my "red". The wine was so impressive, as were Mary's descriptions that we purchased several bottles. We both can't wait to go back to the North Fork!

Outstanding tasting experience! Upon our arrival we were greeted by Evie and escorted to our private tasting area, which was beautifully set up with tables, roses and local art! The wine tasting was phenomenal and they had something for all tastes. Costello di Borghese has become my favorite winery on Long Island not only because of the great wine but... More

The only thing that surpasses their wine is the friendly and knowledge staff - look for the manager Evie, can't say enough good things about her. Fabulous visit.

My friends and I visited this vineyard, with hopes that our recent, disappointing, visit to another vineyard in the area would not be the theme for the day. It was not. The building is immediately inviting and warm and cozy and you are welcomed by one of the owner's dogs, who greeted each of us individually. The tasting room was... More

In 1973 Alex and Louisa Hargrave defied all odds when they founded LI's first winery, Hargrave Vineyards. Years later they sold it to Italy's legendary Borghese family who continue the legacy of producing first-class European-style wines. Because of that pioneering legacy, visiting Borghese is much like visiting Robert Mondavi Winery which marked California's Napa Valley as a source of world-class... More

A must visit. One of the original wineries. Family run/owned since 1973. They have not strayed from their core values to keep up with the now corporate owned vineyards. We are wine club members and are constantly blown away by one of our selection. This time it was the 2013 Cabernet Franc Reserve pictured. You'll have to try it to... More

I went here on Sunday with my sister and did the walking tour with Krista. She was a real joy and so knowledgable about the origins of the vineyard and the wine making process. At the end of the tour we had the wine tasting with Mary, who was very personable and sweet. We had 5 wines of our choice... More
