With a lot of families picnicking to the sounds of blasting tejano music you don't come to Croton Point park for the peace. You also don't come there for the cleanliness as the skittering gerbil-sized cockroach in the parking lot attested to. One broken public shower and a restroom with a floor equal parts sand and, hopefully, bathing suit runoff... More

If you want to camp here, DO NOT pay for camping until you have inspected the campground AND bathrooms. We have camped through the whole U. S. and this is one of our worst, if not the worst experience. We paid $25 when we reserved. We paid the balance in full when we checked in. But upon using the bathrooms,... More

We would come here every summer, but now on top of parking fee they charge you fee per person on the beach. Really? For this beach? They don't even provide bathrooms! There are much better options in the county. The beach is more pebble than sand and the water looks dirty. Too bad, it was once a nice place to... More

Although I've visited the park in every season, I prefer late spring/early summer. The views of the Hudson are spectacular. I enjoy walking, bird watching, picnicking, and just relaxing at this park.

The Croton point Park is a very nice place to take a walk and walk around and enjoy the sights of the Croton river. There was also a 911 Memorial there if you walk further.

Very nice place to go for a day outside on the banks of the Hudson River. Great scenery and ideal for some nature and landscape photography. Also fun to watch people flying remote control airplanes

This is a fantastic place to exercise and especially to walk while in croton. There is a great swimming beach and lots of picnicking and camping opportunities here. It's a very pretty spot and the beautiful Hudson River sidles up to the park. Great place for families or just an early morning walk.

I had 2 hr to kill so I stop by this place. It had a great view of Hudson river and perfect for picnic and to watch the sun set. I believe they charge fee during the certain time of the year.
