This is a good place to go on a Saturday night, and sometimes on a Friday night when they have bands, to listen to country music. They even do square dancing if the band is one that has a "caller". This is a nice "old fashioned" place to go if you enjoy country music.

Went to the Country Music Park with a Senior Citizen group - 1st hour is for dancing - would be
great if there were partners so everyone could dance. Because there aren't, most people just sit for an hour. Then we had a very nice chicken bbq dinner - then the show - Donna and the Mystics were very entertaining, great music. Then an intermission - then the 2nd part of the show. Sorry, people have to realize when it's time to retire -- music left much to be desired.
LONG day of sitting - almost 5 hours. Tables very close together and you are packed like
sardines.

I've been here twice for music shows. My mother who is older really enjoys their entertainment. The food is what I would classify as cafeteria grade (honestly I would be happy to pay a higher price for better quality but most folks who go don't seem to mind, including my mother), but the drinks are very inexpensive and the atmosphere is fun. The bands (mostly country) are usually very good!

Not a place I would ever go again. It's a dump with nasty people that live there with sheds, bikes that are very loud etc...! So we left and found a great place on the other side of Cortland called Greek Peek that has so much more to do and it had full hook up.

Great people, great fun. Lots of dancing and kicking up your feet. Laid back atmosphere with good ole country music.

We stopped to get a campsite after traveling all day.
After checking in, and paying for a site, the music in the hall was so loud (bass) we left. All we wanted was a quiet nights sleep.... it was so loud, I got a headache just the short time we were there.
We went just down the road a short distance and got a quiet site.

This is a wonderful campsite, especially for the price. The management, Earl and Esther, were welcoming and friendly and the country bands playing at the Opry Barn were fantastic. The barn has lots of tables and food at very reasonable prices. My only complaint would be that there are few showers, but still, I never had to wait for a shower and the bathrooms were very clean. I would highly recommend the country music park.
