Attended a craft beer expo on the grounds and the volunteers for the village were exhibiting various items and food. The volunteers were quite knowledgeable and were willing to answer any questions. I do not know if there is normally a charge since we were actually attending another event there.

Small but nice history park, buildings, etc. Authentic Inn from way back when Corning was wilderness. Good history lesson. Nice knowledgeable staff. We were glad we stopped.

This series of buildings represent a real neat way to see the region's past. The people who run it and give the tours are really wonderful. You can see they love what they do. They started us off by letting us picnic on the benches in the yard by the one room schoolhouse. The blacksmith shop has some great tools... More

There is not much I can add about the buildings that other visitors have not mentioned before. However, I want to share our experience of a very special visit with other Tripadvisor readers. I came to Corning on a tour bus, and after encountering the usual throngs of tourists and school children at the Corning Glass Museum, the Heritage Village... More

Great attraction in Corning. Take it in with the glass museum and Rockwell Museum for good day. Shown around by keen and well informed volunteer guide. Mostly reconstructed buildings but very well done. Worth the admission price

This historic inn was right across the street from our hotel, which was the only way we knew it was there. We saw no advertising in any of the tourist pamphlet displays. We are SO glad we stopped, because this was an excellent venue. The inn itself is very well preserved, and our tour guide was the best we've ever... More

Great place to see historical site. Great place for children to learn about past history. On display you see the inn, single room school blacksmith shop.

This museum is actually a collection of old, restored buildings. The main museum building is an 18th Century tavern/inn. The site also has a log cabin, barn and school house. All the buildings are very well maintained. My husband and I went to the Benjamin Patterson Inn Museum on the day before Thanksgiving and it was snowing and cold in... More

I love the Benjamin Patterson Inn. I have been coming here since I was a child. Now I bring my son to their events. They always have cute little things for the kids to make and do. Our favorite event is the Wingblinger they hold every fall. I do think you are better off going when they have a special... More
