Leatherstocking golf course is one of kind - elevated "blind" greens; sloping fairways; and serious water hazards. I am not a great golfer - but I think playing Leatherstocking is worth the trip. It's incredibly beautiful, seldom crowded, and has gorgeous views. Of the courses...More

This course will give you a full dose of beauty, challenge and drama. It was a tough walk because of the hills. We managed fine but if you are not in good shape you should take a cart. Absolutely gorgeous views of the lake and...More

Was in Albany and after taking one day to see Baseball HoF, drove back over the next to play Leatherstocking, and it was worth every minute of the 3 hour round trip drive. A classic old course, not exceptionally long, but you MUST drive the...More

Well what golfer wouldn't want to play a course with a long lake front view? With side slope, elevation changes, lane changes to get across the road to head uphill, then tee off looking straight downhill to a three par...is pretty awesome. Just when you...More

I've played this course at least 50 times and will never get sick of it. It is an absolute gem. Challenging, scenic, perfectly manicured and well worth the money. Its not overly difficult, but you have to keep your ball in the short grass and...More

I don't know. We stayed at the Otesaga and used the "golf package" add on for our room.
