We stayed on the lake and went on the ferry boat. It was a great trip with beautiful scenery. Many people were boating and paddle boating too. I highly recommend that you visit the lake and enjoy it.

We were able to use the free public access for our kayak right by Council Rock Park. Unfortunately the Otsego Lake do not allow anyone to make any stops along the shoreline for our lunch because of private properties. Otsego Lake patrol suggested us to rest or have our picnic at the Threemile Point or paddle to the Glimmerglass State... More

The lake is very pretty and there is a lovely park you can have a picnic in or sit and watch the birds or fellow tourists. There is also a nice restaurant where you can also watch the lake ( boats, fishing, etc.). There is also a tour boat that takes you around the lake, which is very relaxing. If... More

Just a short walk from the hustle and bustle of the Baseball Hall of Fame is this quiet retreat for a break.

Otsego is not one of the celebrated fingers, in fact running in the opposite direction, but a circumnavigation provides some lovely vistas and it seems less commercialized -- cooperstown aisde -- than many of its brethren

The lake views are beautiful. Otsego Lake is so refreshing and so clear. We would love to come back and spend time on a boat next time.

I'm not a baseball fan AT ALL, but when Cooperstown made its way onto the itinerary for my baseball-fan hubby, I didn't fight it too much. Having been there before, I knew how charming the town was, and how pretty the lakefront was. On this particular trip I declined joining him for the whole baseball hall of fame-baseball memorabilia shopping,... More

We went for 4th of July assuming there would be fireworks at the park by the lake. According to the website there was.but when we got there and waited after driving 2 and a half hours, there was no 4th of July celebration at cooperstown. It was 10 miles away on the opposite side of the lake! That was disappointing... More

Had lunch at the harbor restaurant on a bus trip to baseball hall of fame. Crowded, wait in line, but expected. Service very confused. Food ok once you got what you ordered (not someone else's)! Lake cruise was pleasant.
