You can easily see these waterfalls by driving up North Mohawk St, parking in free lot across the street, and walking across a wide footbridge. There are a few picnic tables to your left and some signs explaining the geology of the area. There are no bathrooms, visitor center, or other infrastructure. There is a long set of steps you can take to the lower level ( i did not go, so cannot comment). The falls are quite wide, and definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.…

Twice: once with high Mohawk River flow, run-off from storm. Wow! Once during normal flow. Impressive, still, but different. Viewed from near power plant outlet. Fascinating, exciting, historic, geologic!!

The Cohoes falls is always fun. I think most people like it in the spring when it flows fast. However, I prefer it in the winter when we've had very, very cold weather--the water on top freezes and it's beautiful to see! Take hot chocolate!

We took the easy walk, stairs are not too bad, and enjoyed the falls. They are larger then we anticipated.

This is a nice place to bring friends watch the falls very nice place. There are benches to Sit on and a little bit of a walking trail. It is enjoyable to watch the birds on top of the falls.
