Rock Island Lighthouse is thus far my favorite little lighthouse in the Thousand Islands. The park service did a wonderful job restoring the main building as well as the lighthouse. A trip up to the top of the lighthouse is a must... the 360 degree...More

This was a great way to spend an hour. I do recommend that the glass at the top of the lighthouse could be cleaned more often. But a great little way to relax and be right along the water.

We arrived by kayak and spent some time checking out the island. We also had a picnic on the grounds. We did not have time to tour the museum.

Absolutely amazing how much history (and buildings) can fit on a small island with room to just enjoy the view. Very knowledgeable staff that made the 1 hour stop just fly by.

Great lighthouse and a nice view from the top. Lighthouse keepers cottage is very nice. Excellent signage for self guided tour. Great photo ops!

You need to take a boat to get here, but it's a nice ride. There is not much of a "park" but it's a beautiful island. Climb to the top of the lighthouse for a breathtaking view of the river! Tour the restored house for...More
