- The_Prince_LestatOntario, Canada451 contributionsLoved most of itA great idea and I would love to see int he summer when it is not raining. Unfortunately antiquing in the wet is not fun. The first, main building we went into we were made to feel like lower class poor people who would not be able to buy anything. The blond womans exact words were " the lower price and cheap items you would be looking for are in the other buildings". How ignorant. Thankfully the people in the other buildings were so much nicer than this horrible excuse for a human. I will definately return to find some more excellent deals in the "lower costs, cheap sections for people like me". But will certainly not enter that persons store again.Written January 3, 2020
- SeeingthingsnowNewmarket, Canada314 contributionsLists of stuffI am an avid antiqued ,love the adventure of finding something unique, this is just your average multiple dealer shop. The main problem is most things gs in show cases so look don't touch is how you browse her. I like to pick up and be able to really see what I am buying g without having to get someone to open a case every time i see something good selection lots of different eras just not my type of place. I like dirty old things not pretty and shinyWritten January 14, 2015
- Bonnie48345Oswego, New York202 contributionslots of antiques to browseA visit here in December was a surprise. The outdoor vendors of course weren't open but there are plenty of indoor vendor stalls to browse through. I would love to go back in the summer to check out the outdoor dealers. If you want to shop for antiques and collectibles, this place was a one-stop shop.Traveled with familyWritten December 22, 2014

The Clarence antique show has largely died but this is an unexpectedly nice antique mall. Very good dealers, high quality. Definitely worth a visit.

Compared to other antique malls like Ontario or Salamanca or even the Emporium at the Eastern Hills mall...Antique World leaves much to be desired!
The ugly, dark outdoor metal garage huts are a turn off. The rows of glass cases, many of which are empty, do not allow for a "sensory" shopping experience ....there is an impression of sterility and decline.
Yes, the other malls also have glass cases but they also have more displays and vignettes that allow you to stroll through the aisles and examine the merchandise....creating a connection between item and prospective purchaser!
It is worth the trip to visit the antique malls in Canandaigua or Rochester or Salamanca or take a short trip to the Eastern Hill Emporium...all provide a much better experience.

I highly recommend going when the outdoor flea market and antique market are going the same day. Make a day of it and you will find some nice buys.

We spent the morning at this gem, what a trove of antiques at very reasonable prices . The vendirs are veey pleasant and willing to negotiate prices . We bought a Red Rider authentic BB gun, box, and BB's for $40.00 ! A Hammondton Greyhound ball bearing wagon for $5.00 ! A vintage bear for $5.00 , and other great finds . Perfect day for picking up unique and memorable treasures . A must see and experience when in this area , highly recommemd fellow vintage junkies you will not be disappointed .

First timers, WOWED. The cold November trip yielded a view of what appeared to be outdoor storage bins with merchants and then behind them were heated indoor booths where I found myself shopping for only a few hours but could have stayed all day. The building we shopped was large and divided into sections with mostly everything priced that I had looked at.Three was staff to assist in any area of need as well as to take your desired purchase items to a cubicle where they would sit safely until you were ready to pay.If you choose not to buy an item in holding they are fine with it. There were no questions asked as you could turn any corner and find something you wanted and another corner might reveal something you want as well. I bought a few great items. I am not sure if I could fairly say that everything was antiques but I did find some great items at fair prices. It could take you all day if you were to shop all the available buildings but I was not able to so it would be unfair for me to tell you about that part of the experience. I would recommend you plan on a day there and just go with your own flow. Food area was available as well as sitting and rest facilities.I would not recommend taking children as some areas are tighter than others and we are talking about Antiques of value with the assumption if you break it you buy it. Not very wheel chair friendly as again, tight areas with valuables to consider.

I used to love going to the Antique World Flea Market. It used to only be open on Sunday's. They had beautiful treed property and there would be so many vendors set up under the trees it was hard to find parking. There was something for everyone and prices were great. Now it's nothing but storage units full of over priced garbage. Seriously, most of it just needs to be trashed. And the prices were ridiculous. You could buy it new in a store for less. They ruined the flea market atmosphere just so they could make guaranteed money from the unit renters. Yes, in the larger buildings there are antiques and what they want you to think are antiques but really not worth your time. Find a small town flea market if you are really looking for great stuff. The time has passed for this one.

Love the different buildings and assorted items. We did two and there is a lot to look at. We brought 11 year old and they did good, enjoyed looking and asking about different things. Great way to share history with the younger generations.

I would always go there to do my rounds whenever I am in western New York. This is a co-op store; a lot of small items, jewellery, collectibles are in locked showcases as consignment. Price are fixed as items are from different consigners. The staffs are very helpful whenever I want to take a closer look on items. They have a section that carries museum quality furniture, fascinating! Bring measuring type & magnify loop. Happy findings!

My boyfriend and I visited this market on a Saturday afternoon. It was worth the drive from Canada, although not the best market I have been to. I collect antique keys and did not see many here. There were tons of buildings and outdoor vendors to look through. The pictures I have attached here were some of the amazing furniture in Kelly's. We will be back!

There are a few indoor buildings at this market but we were looking forward to the outdoor ones as well. Our plan was to check out the indoor ones on the Sat. and return on Sun for the outdoor ones...but it was a wet, cold, windy weekend so it wasn't as amazing as I know this will be. I will definately go back when the weather is better. I am looking forward to it!

Shoppers should keep in mind that the venders price their items as cheaply as they can without losing money. The problem is that it costs money to rent the booth/unit and that is not cheap!!! Next, the items for sale might have a lot of money invested in them. Just a few things to be mindful of when shopping at Antique World. Most of the venders will work with customers to give them a deal - at least that has been my experience. If you go there again, let them know what you are looking for specifically and they will keep an eye out for the items you are seeking. Best of luck to you!

Someone told me the outdoor vendors start at 6am. Is that true? How early should we get there on a Sunday?
And how different are the regular Sundays to the "Great American Garage Sale" Sundays?

Are there lots of outdoor vendors every Sunday?
Or are they mostly there on "Garage Sale" days?
