As a volunteer tour guide for the Aquatarium in Brockville I was given the privilege of a behind the walls tour of the Castle and it is truly stunning and I would and do recommend this as a destination for tourists.

I think that the impression of Singer Castle is controlled by two factors: your guide and the number of people on your tour. I have been on several tours and I have found that the quality of the guides range from high school kids, who...More

I was finally home for a visit while they were still open. The exterior of the castle and grounds are gorgeous, but the rest was a let down. The tour was extremely rushed and most everyone in my group didn't get to ask questions or...More

Singer Castle is very beautiful. It has been kept to the time period (early 1900's). The entrance is grand with beautiful limestone. The fireplaces are marble and have amazing color (green and pink). There are many secret passageways, which you cannot explore on this tour,...More

This was one of the stops on the St. Lawrence seaway , & well worth the visit. On an island by it''s own, brings about a time of wealth & grandeur . Placed about are vintage sewing machines, of which I recognized as one that...More

I was really disappointed in Singer Castle. The tour guide gave a super fast and well-rehearsed speech but not very detailed. I am not sure he would have known how to answer questions, and it felt like a race through the house. But worse, the...More

We bought a combination pass from Uncle Sam's, which included a trip to Singer Castle. I highly recommend visiting this castle. The tour is guided by a knowledgeable young person and is very interesting.

Tpited thru the Singer castle. Enjoyed the wood furniture and marble within. Loved the secret passageways and large room for the female help. Beautiful area between the U.S. and Canada in the St Lawrence River.
