Excellent Place To Visit
Mar 2021
Quiet trails with beautiful scenery. Terrific place to bird watch, hike, view the pond lillies, much more people than the rest of the parks around Western New York.

Great local park
Dec 2020 • Solo
If you are visiting Buffalo, this park is a must visit. The trails are very clearly marked and easy to navigate. One section is all elevated boardwalk, which makes it handicap accessible. The wildlife is very active in this park. During the summer, there are lots of softball and baseball games. Fall brings little league football. There are two nice playgrounds for the kids and a special section for children with disabilities. There are also a lot of geocaches in the lark. I’m a big fan of this Western NY gem.

Nice walk in the Woods on a Hot Day
Jul 2020 • Solo
07/26/20 we have been walking a lot through this pandemic and we found this great walking trail and park. It is a really nice feather in the cap for the local residents.

As you also know we also have recorded the hottest month of July on record for WNY.

We got hear in the morning. It was very relaxing to walk through the woods in the shade of all the trees, with a nice breeze rushing through.
The trail is very well kept.

We also saw a lot of birds and squirrels.

The only sad thing is the number of dead Ash trees that are in the Forrest .

Recommend for walks on a hot day!
Enjoy!

Daily walk in losson lark
Apr 2020 • Solo
I've been walking this park at least once a week for the last 32 years.yesterday I walked with a mask so to protect myself and others. It was more.crowded than I ever saw in the past. It was impossible to maintain a safe physical distance. Let's start caring for each other and.at least wear something that covers your nose and mouth
It was not safe especially for the elderly
I saw a woman dive into the.wkkds out of fear when people got close. Please be considerate.

Thank you

Glorious Nature!
Oct 2019
I cannot sufficiently express how I feel about the Losson Nature Trails at Stiglmeier Park in Cheektowaga. I so much regret that it is a 40 minute drive for me. Today was my first time. The trails are well marked, a great map is provided and in addition to a lovely pond and beautiful trees, there is wildlife!!! We saw several deer! What a bonus this was.

And it is all FREE!!!!!

Parks are for pets.
Jul 2019 • Friends
This is a nice park with trails that go down to a creek. I spent many years of my childhood down there and it was my go too for walking my dog. Not allowed anymore though! I dont know who the Mastermind behind that idea was but it is absolutely garbage. It is a park, it is absurd that you can't bring your dog to a park.

Great day use park
May 2019 • Family
This park is a perfect way to spend a day with your family. Several picnic shelters, miles of clear hiking trails along with baseball fields, basketball court and playgrounds. Park is very well maintained and provides ample parking and is free to enter.

Great trails, a little piece of country close to the city !
The play ground is little kid friendly, the scenery is beautiful in the fall. There is great little hill for sleding in the winter with little ones !
