Our son (age 10) didn't end up liking the search for Laddie. So we only finished touring the downstairs. Once our son is older I'd like to try again.

Well worth the time. Eclectic collections, including some items which I had never heard of (and I regularly visit period homes & museums). Our guide was local and clearly cherished the memory and history of the Miner family. We could easily have spent another hour...More

Nice, small museum. Shows what life was like in the "good old days" Also, do head out to the Miner Institute just a few miles away. Drive through the gates and the Portes Cocheres. Great stuff and FREE
