4H Fair. Every July - the last weekend

Solo

One of the most charming experiences in our county= every year- end of July- for 3 days- the park is transformed by volunteers from Cooperative Extension, 4H and local groups to deliver activities, food and interactive demonstrations and competitions ( that require pre entry - check out the Cooperative Extension of Putnam County website in June!)

This is a great little park in Carmel NY. Has a Veterans museum and authentic Helicopters Tanks etc on display. They have an upper and lower pavilion,with Barbeque Grills,a small lake for fishing. The Pavillions are covered and Provide electric outlets.. It is a Great Place for Kids. Admission is $5 re car. Veterans admitted no charge.

Beautiful

This park is beautiful. There is a small beach with a lifeguard. Plenty of room to run, bike, drone. Lots of kid park equipment and even some healthy park equipment stuff for adults. There are also hiking trails. Picnic tables.
Smaller than I expected.

Veterans Memorial Park

Couples

Beautiful scenery. Been here for a number of events. The memorial itself is very well done. Also offers a lake for swimming with a beach, and children's playground.
