We stopped in on the way back from the baseball hall of fame. We stayed at the local hotel which gave us free passes. The place is packed with boxing memorabilia. Bronze fists of inductees are everywhere. I grew up in the Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, and Lennox Lewis fighting it out in the 90's. Watching Oscar De La Hoya... More

This is a small museum, but packed with memorabilia and pictures of all the greats. If boxing is even of a little interest you will enjoy this museum

We were a bit disappointed. Not exactly what we expected. We were given a 2 minute guide, then on our own. More amateur memorabilia than the actual boxers. We paid $25.00 for admission. Then was led to another building where the original fight ring was, also gift shop. Again, disappointed, and was not worth the admission price.

We were looking for something to do before our flight back home. It was interesting but you have to really be into boxing history to appreciate this place.

I have traveled here about a dozen times. This quaint museum honors the sport's legends. Go in mid-June for induction ceremony. Tons of autograph opportunities then. Small museum, but the staff is supportive.
