Don't miss the Pier....it's historical and the boat houses are amazing! Check out the hot dog vendor too! Water bowls and treats for dogs is also there for you!

This area has the small fishing boathouses lining each small pier off the city pier. Its historic in some ways because so many of these places in other parts of the country have been torn down or remodeled. Makes for beautiful pictures!

Not a lot here, but it is an enjoyable stroll. A beautiful marina with power boats, sail boats, catamarans and more. It is interesting to see the boathouses where the boats are pulled in like a garage and then raised out of the water. Nice...More

This is a unique city pier in that boathouses line the pier. A little unusual - some need repair, but we haven’t seen this before and felt it was worth a 20 minute stop.

We were simply expecting to walk out on a pier. What an amazing surprise. Plenty of free parking. Able to walk around & enjoy the views and the refreshing breeze. Plaques gave history of what we were seeing. Clean public restrooms. Ice cream. Fishing. Boat...More

After the pier we went for a delicious lunch at the Rheinbliek German Restaurant. Beforehand we visited the New York Food Center which was formally the Wine and Culinary Center.

Yes, you can fish off the pier. You are likely to get small pan fish. I suggest using worms. Of course, NYS fishing license rules apply.
