There are as many dogs as people. Yes most owners pick up after there dogs, tourists not so much. They don't understand the rules. So if you are having a picnic or eating out and a dog takes a big poop in front of you....More

Before checking in, we had time to visit the town. Enjoyed taking a walk through the park after lunch overlooking the water and taking in the scenery.

We stumbled on this park looking for a way to spend an afternoon. We absolutely loved it. The water is very shallow and great with young kids. View is beautiful with moored boats all around you. Water is very cold though.

Yes, on a leash. There is also a small beach area to the East side of the park where pets can swim. Get there early in the morning as it can get busy.
