- Malcolm PSouthampton, United Kingdom54 contributionsTucked away animal farm and play park.Searched out this farm on a two day visit to the area. Animals seem to be well cared for and a lot of opportunity to involve youngsters while feeding at demonstration times. Nice play area. Probably good for a two hour visit for a young family.Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten September 17, 2023
- Mike D6 contributionsGreat little family farmThis is a great little half day trip out showing how animals can live and be cared for. Don't have high expectations as the animals are mostly rescues with a few exotics to see. This isn't a zoo with lions and tigers and bears! It's a nice little half day trip for families with kids. Take your wellies as you will need them and maybe some wet wipes.Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten November 20, 2023
- RosRDGReading, United Kingdom30 contributionsWorth every pennyI wasn’t going to write a review as reviewed in 2023 however after seeing the negative reviews I thought I needed to. We went over the Easter half term with storm Kathleen hanging around with lots of wind and rain. Our afternoon out was lovely. We held bearded dragons, blue tongue skints, tortoises, rabbits, Guinea pigs and walked a ferret. We also feed, sheep, wallaby’s, lambs, alpacas. Stroked all the animals. Had wonderful keeper talks and learnt about black foxes. The keepers and the guys on work experience were extremely knowledgable and really did care for the customers and animals. Yes some of the fields were muddy the staff had laid down extra straw and pallets to try and help the animals but each one looked like they didn’t care they were muddy! And played crazy golf. Yes it’s dated but did it stop us having fun, no. The food was slow in coming but was it any wonder it was school holidays. It was busy and it was cooked food not prepared sandwiches. Soft play was incredibly noisy - but isn’t all soft play. The kids all appeared to have fun and play together. For the price you can’t complain it’s a good morning or afternoon out helping support a local company who care for rescued and abandoned animals with little funding.Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 13, 2024
- ShanBridgwater, United Kingdom11 contributionsIn need of updating/upgrading.Average - Good few hours out but other than the play barn and feeding some of the animals there's not much to do. The indoor play is still the same as it was around 20 years ago when I visited as a child, would be good if they updated it with a fresh look, also none of the arcade games work, the one duck ride they have is disassemble and broken, zip wire out of use, outdoor play castle needs some tlc, barns full of rats running round in with the rabbits ect. Could do with someone putting some money into it as everything feels run down, hand washing had no hot water and soap dispensers broken with flies and spiders in. Staff were lovely and helpful though when it came to being able to handle the animals (Rabbits, Ferrets, Reptiles).Visited April 2024Traveled with familyWritten April 28, 2024
- petef23 contributionsA wonderful day out for our 4, 6 & 7 year olds. It’s great value with lots of good play. Our grandchildren (ages 4, 6 & 7) had a wonderful time. We stayed 4 hours and could easily have stayed another hour, but dinner time called! Their favourites were the Play fort, Soft play, trampolines, feeding animals and snake handling. The staff are helpful and friendly. Personally I thought the play fort was brilliantly designed with loads to do on it whilst being safe for a wide range of ages. Top marks for this attraction. The snake handling and the hamster petting entranced them.Visited June 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 15, 2024
- Sara W24 contributionsOverpriced, tired, unloved. This place has so much potential but we found it to be tired, untidy, and unloved. There are inadequate outdoor washing facilities, considering the littles are encouraged to feed the animals. What facility there was, was terrible, no hot water, no drying machine that worked, no soap dispensers that worked either. None of the ice cream cabins were open - summer holidays too! No staff anywhere to query anything with so you were left to figure out which way to walk, and what animals were in the cages. The limited amount of cages that did have signs, we’re old and weathered and need rejuvenating (or replacing) The indoor cages (birds, reptiles) looked like it had been thrown together as an afterthought. The cage windows were especially dirty making it difficult to find the animals in them. Definitely the worse part of the farm. Finally, the poor solo alpaca by the trampolines - terrible environment, nothing to keep it entertained, sleeping quarter appeared to be a couple of old pallets chucked together with weeds growing in front and it’s obvious no one is checking on them as there were 3 discarded Coke cans by the pallets, which had q obviously been there for quite a while as they were very weathered. Positive - the trampolines and soft play. I wouldn’t recommend this farm to anyway for the £14 chargeVisited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 28, 2024
- Jackie CEngland, United Kingdom81 contributionsNeeds improvementIt is a huge place with very friendly staff. The cost of entry is high but to feed and look after the animals I suppose it has to be. The grounds need some work doing, more seating around the footpath would be good. There were a few but were overgrown with weeds and stingers. Hand washing facilities need to be improved, we got there when it opened yet 2 of the soap dispensers had no soap in them. The animals looked happy and very well looked after with plenty of space for them to run around in. The outside play area was great as was the indoor one. I would recommend that children wear long trousers as the children got stuck on the slides. Remember to wear socks as they do not sell them. Food was reasonably priced and had a good selection but drinks were over priced.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 29, 2024
- Lo WWeston super Mare, United Kingdom101 contributionsA great day outWe visited last year and after reading the reviews I was dubious about returning but am so glad that I did. My 3 year old son had a great time here. If you are comparing it to other, more expensive attractions in the area (Puxton/Noahs ark) you will be disappointed. This is a farm, with lots of open space, plenty of parking and facilities and the price reflects this. We played mini golf, used the trampolines, looked at all of the animals and played in the large indoor soft play. The animals looked well cared for, grass areas neat and tidy, lots of picnic tables and the staff were all friendly and helpful (especially the lady on reception). If you have a leaflet (from a stand in a supermarket) you can get 10% off the admission price.Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 30, 2024
- Dumpling1920Bridport, United Kingdom56 contributionsA great day out!Having read so many negative reviews on here I am delighted to say that we had the most enjoyable time yesterday. My six year old grandson loved everything - but the castle was an absolute highlight. The 10 month old fell in love with the rabbits and even got to stroke one. We spent 6 hours there and every one of them was fun and interesting - the small animals & reptile stroking sessions were really good. The staff were excellent and friendly. Yes it is looking a bit tatty in places but certainly not unloved or neglected. We all loved it and will return.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 3, 2024
- Cheryl MCwmbran, United Kingdom32 contributionsNot great but not terrible.Shame that this park is looking so tired as you can really see the potential for a fabulous attraction. The animals are lovely and we all enjoyed petting and feeding them, particularly the goats. But a lot of areas are overgrown and remnants of rides don’t help the appearance. We were a group of 8 so it cost quite a lot for us to visit and we left after 3 hours having seen everything. The shop is very very overpriced. If you like feeding and petting animals it is a nice place for a half day visit.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 8, 2024

We had quite high hopes when we had decided on this place as a half term treat for the kids whilst we were on holiday. We have 4 children under 8 and wanted to have a big day out to compliment our annual holiday to visit family in Bristol.
On arrival, we were met with a lady telling us that none of the rides were open. Honestly. In half term. With no prior advertisement about the rides being closed. The lady on the Reception told us it was because Brean Leisure is so close that they are now focusing on animals - and we’ll see that they’re improving these areas which is why they won’t be open today.
The Cafe was also not open, nor was any of the ice cream stands and the arcades weren’t working. There was somewhere to buy a hot drink, although it wasn’t very inviting and to be honest, with the state of the rest of this place, it would be a better bet to stay thirsty. The soft play which they kept telling us was open, had seen better days, it was dirty with broken ropes, holes in the carpet and lots of areas needing attention.
We spoke to a manger as we had paid £50 - which apparently is a good deal (!) and spent less than an hour here because it was, what could only be described as a ghost town. We were told we should have asked the staff if we wanted to see the animals, and that it was on Facebook and their Website that the rides were no longer in use. But that’s a lie because I would not have made the journey or gone there had that been the case because we would have spent our money at Puxton Park, Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm or to be honest thrown it down the toilet which is what we did because although it’s called Animal Farm Adventure Park.. There’s no Adventure (or animals) at all!
My advice would be to avoid this place and spend your money elsewhere unless like us, you want to end up with very bored and disappointed kids!

Been here several times in the past and has always been good for the little ones... but today (11.10.20) a disappointment. The website isn't totally honest with the way things actually are at the moment. Firstly, the website states (at the top) that "Some of our facilities remain closed due to government guidelines & for the safety of our customers & team members." This statement should be more honest and state 'MOST' as there are no rides operating, and if you scroll to the bottom of the website it then states "Rides are currently closed for the safety of our customers & team." Very disappointing when you arrive with very keen children, eagerly anticipating the rides. Then, if you've been here before you will notice that most of the rides have actually been removed from the site! When my wife questioned a member of staff, she was told that the rides were going and the site would become a farm. On walking round it was evident that money had been spent on pens, fencing and more animals in the bottom field. And again a statement on the website "With much of our income being from the holiday makers, the recent lockdowns have left us facing serious issues." How have they managed to extend the park and purchase more animals at this time... maybe from the sale of the rides?! Surprisingly, the indoor play zone was operating (minus pool pits). If this hadn't been open it would have just been a visit to a small farm. We ordered some drinks from the indoor cafe, firstly the coffee machine wouldn't dispense a Cappuccino, opted for a Latte, not a problem, although the price was for two small hot drinks. Later asked for two slush drinks for the children and duly handed over £4 (£2 each displayed on the machine) only to be told they had gone up to £2.50. My wife suggested they alter the price on the machine in that case! Additionally, there was no evidence of staff sanitising/ cleaning anything during the course of the day, and hand sanitiser was only evident at the two food outlets??! That said, we were told that only five staff were operating the park. Overall, a disappointing visit, and won't go back now the rides have gone. Will have to travel further afield to give the children a better experience. And finally, I agree with other reviewers that the entry cost is a bit much for what's on offer.

Lovely park with lots to do and really friendly staff.
I do however highly recommend avoiding the restaurant unless you want to long waits and inedible food. I was definitely concerned about the hygiene and safety of the food being served.
There are plenty of benches for a picnic.

Having visited many zoos and animal parks it was nice to go here and see animals that you don't normally find. They have the usual goats, sheep, alpacas and llamas but they also have black foxes, raccoon dogs and wallabies in zoo quality enclosures. For families there is an indoor play area and plenty of picnic benches and there are lots of guinea pigs and rabbits etc. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the keeper talks are definitely worth a listen.
Whilst I would agree with other reviews that the entry fee is a little high I would highlight that this park is obviously undergoing major renovation and development and in the current climate this must be very challenging. I look forward to seeing the forthcoming improvements and will definitely return.

We attended the farm yesterday with my 2 year old, she had the best day ever. It's very clear that they absolutely love the animals there, they were building all new enclosures, the enclosure fences have all been replaced recently.
Unfortunately the rides were closed, but that is stated before you book a ticket. The rides however are only closed due to covid and lockdown being a huge hit on everyone so we didn't mind at all. My daughter loved the softplay and outdoor castle anyway so didn't really notice the rides.
The animals are all super friendly when feeding them, so gently.
There is hand washing stations all around the farm so you can wash your hands all the time, the water was too hot for my daughter so be careful.
The staff were all super friendly, we were late for the Rabbit and Guinea Pig handling but they still let us meet Moo and Nibbles (who were the most gentle animals ever), just sat there and let my daughter stroke them. The gentleman running the handling was lovely too, telling us all facts and stories about the animals.
I've recommend this place to friends and family.
Thank you so much for a great day 👍

Have been here before , albeit a few years ago. The entrance price for the Dinosaur Day was increased to £15 pp (only under 2s free) so For 4 adults and two children over 2 cost was £90 and together with animal feed total of £94.50 which I thought was expensive, but was prepared to pay as previous reviews good, My toddler grandson wanted to play mini golf but it was so hot and absolutely no shade so he couldnt complete the short course. The indoor play area was sweltering and although there looked to be an air con unit this was not working and staff said it didnt work..No water fountains anywhere and water £1.60 a small bottle. So pleased we took drinks. The indoor animal area was very hot stuffy and smelly. On a cooler day we would have stayed much longer. The children enjoyed feeding the goats, and staff dealing with the animals were friendly and knowlegeable .The dinasour show /exhibition was a huge let down and certainly wasnt worth the extra entrance fee, (£2 pp).Blackdown Garden centre in Tn has a similar dinosaur which can be viewed foc.! The children enjoyed the castle play area and trampolines, but disappointed that other electrical rides werent available. We stayed for just under 2 hours as it was unbearably hot with very little shade other than the indoor play area which was stifling. On my way out I did ask the very lovely lady on reception if we could have a return visit at a reduced price. She gave me a leaflet offering 10% off which was annoying really as we probably could have had this anyway. She advised she didnt have the authority. What a shame! I do understand that businesses need to recover from Covid but felt really disappointed at our visit, and would have come away much happier if maybe a 50% discount offered on a return visit.So..in conclusion pick your day carefully weather wise, take your own picnic and hand sanitiser as the WCs werent the cleanest..

We had a fantastic afternoon here. There’s so much to do.
Firstly the animals are all very well looked after by the staff and the majority are rescue animals. Make sure you stock up on the feed bags they sell as you’ll get through a few with all the animals to see!
The rides are no longer functional, however there’s a fairground down the road so if you want rides go there! If you want a great experience learning and feeding about all these wonderful animals then here’s the place.
There’s a soft play area with loads of slides and a good bar, so head here if the weather turns bad.
Make sure you get an itinerary of all the feeding and hands on experiences you get with the animals.
For the piece you won’t get a better value for money experience. Enjoyed by all of any ages!

We've drove past many times but never thought to visit but now we are gutted we didn't visit sooner! There seems to be lots of effort being put into the farm to make it even better (looks like new enclosures). The animals were all very friendly and happy to come to the fences and all the staff were very welcoming and knowledgable. Lots of handling sessions that were well managed.
Only reasons we rated 4 was it took us half an hour to get in. The lovely lady on reception, as lovely as she was, spoke to each person for ages which meant that we queued for ages to get in. There is also quite limited seating in the play barn but overall was a lovely experience

Spent £60 to visit animal farm, it used to be a family favourite and worth every penny but this time it was a different experience. We arrived at 1054 and by 1115 we wanted to leave. There was no rides and not much to do. I went to talk to the staff the lady claimed she was the manager she was very rude and made me really upset. She then passed comment on my parenting and called my daughter a stroppy teenage we left by 1130 with 2 family members in tears

We have visited many times over the years and we have eagerly awaited our visit this time. Unfortunately it’s nowhere near as good as it used to be. We spent all day on previous visits, loving all the rides, spending time with the animals and there was usually something going on like a puppet show in half term etc. this time we could honestly have walked around the animals (mostly goats and alpacas) in 20 mins and walked straight back out. There were no rides AT ALL. The place appears rundown and we counted 3 staff for the whole place, waited around 45 minutes for 2 bags of chips!!! The whole family feel really deflated and it’s nowhere near worth the £56 for 2 adults and 2 kids to enter. £14 pp is absolutely scandalous for what they offer and I’d be surprised if it was open much longer. I’d happily pay what they ask if it was as good as it used to be but never again
