Had a fantastic time with the grandchildren. Could not believe I went on the tube rides and survived! The park is super clean and friendly!

This park is not as it was years ago. We had a horrible experience and it all started from the beginning. 1. No shuttle to take you from the parking to the entrance, and it is not a short distance especially if you are parked all the way to the end. That was the first disappointment. 2. After going in, we could not find one single chair free, I repeat not one single chair was available to sit and leave your staff. If you are a family and you are thinking to go to this place be prepared to stand still. They shrinked those sections they once had where you could find chairs to sit and relax for a bit. They did that to put in place more games and/or force people to buy the cabanas which cost $250, insanely priced! I wanted to pay that too out of desperation, a lounge chair, a cabana, anything but it was all sold out. As such, we had no place to stay. We found that out after standing in line for another hour and having to go all the way outside of the park by the entrance because apparently you can't buy from the inside. 3. We decided then to go eat at "Monster burger". We waited in line 50 minutes but wait! What makes this waiting so aggravating is that there were only 5 people in front of us and each window had a similar short line. What gives then? They had to be understaffed and they could not possibly serve people in a regular manner. In addition, that whole place felt so neglected and they still have the "monster burger" sitting on top of their logo faded by the sun over the years and makes it look like an abandoned water park. The food was horrible and cold and they were out of almost everything, apple sauce, peanut butter sandwiches which if you have kids, you would be hoping to get that for them. You will discover that after 50 minutes of waiting in line though. You stand in the sun for 50 minutes thirsty and hungry because remember they check your bags and do not allow you to bring food and water inside, you will be at their mercy! 4. I requested a refund and contacted them, no answer. They ignore you. 5. The water-donuts for the lazy river are not of the same shape as these once were, and are damn cheap, not the yellow-leather like which were of high quality. They also had a place next to the lazy river that was emanating this ear-piercing, super loud whistle/sound and by the door, a sign showed to wear hearing protection beyond that point. What was that all about? This was supposed to be a special day, you work hard all year long, and then drive long distances to get to this place and get treated this way like you do not count. The few hours we were there were lost for all of the above and rather than having fun, we hated it and we suffered, like if it was torture. All that counts to them, is the money they make, you can smell and see the greed and the negligence throughout the whole place. I would think very carefully before spending your hard-earned money on this place.

It was my first time going to splish splash and it was overall a good experience. I got there as early as possible and was able to do most of the popular rides before 1pm. I was unsure about getting the H20Go passes but honestly it seemed useless and just too much. The lazy river was weird in my opinion because there was a very long line but soo many empty tubes in the river. Not the best food options but all in all It was a very good.
