Starts in the Bronx and goes all the way to Croton along the now-abandoned Croton Aqueduct. Great views and easy walking.

We took the metro north to Glenwood and we hiked all the way to the croton dam. We hiked like 5 hours a day. It was a great experience. In Tarrytown the trail goes through the town which I didn't enjoy. My favorite parts of the hike was after Sleepy Hollow to Scarborough and from Ossining (the trail goes through this quaint town) to the Dam.I got some blisters and my foot was a little swollen, but it was a great hike. I noticed some people take their bikes. We couldn't find a hotel in Scarborough/Ossining/Crotton so we decided to stay in Peekskill then we took the train to Scarborough and then the following day to Croton Harmon. The trail is very close to the train station.
