Just a quick subway ride and you are adventure bound. This was challenging fun and overall a fantastic experience!! Wouldn't have been the same without the stellar staff that support you through the entire course. You never feel unsafe or alone but always challenged! There are lockers and water stations on site ** make sure to enter in through the proper entrance to the Bronx Zoo!

arrived with my girl and kids to have some birthday fun for the older boy (9,10 years old). from arrival to departure the staff was top notch, very accommodating friendly nice and sincere. the course is challenging and fun. even when someone got suck, frustrated, or scared the staff was there to help them work there way through the obstacle without giving up on any one person. the professionalism of the staff was more than enough to have me recommend this adventure to all. thank you all for a wonderful day!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went yesterday at 12:30. This 50 year old is in moderate shape and both I and my 15 year old son who is in shape got quite the workout for over 2 hours, doing three courses - one green and two blue, ending on course A blue. Next one would be the black but we were out of time. This was our first time doing this and I would definitely recommend for those who want to be challenged - it is perfect for teens. Felt safe after the demo showed how you have to have one clip at all times. All staff except one (working zip line on far side sending you back) were extremely friendly, joking, and having fun working. Highly recommend.

We booked at 1pm today. We arrived around 12:20pm, however, it took us 40 mins to find a parking because Bronx zoo staffs directed us to 3 different parking lots. Even though we were not late, the staffs refused us to go in because we didn’t be there 30 mins earlier. I kept on asking different options, like if we could go if no one showed at 1:30pm or 2pm. NO! Could we get refund? NO! Could we reschedule? NO! The one thing I’ve gotten from them was a # to call. My son cried so badly on Father’s Day. I really don’t think those staffs care at all. Thank you for being useless.

Staff was terribly rude.
We arrived on time for the appointed slot, however that was after a houlf hour long walk from where we had been at the zoo.
What they fail to emphasize is the requirement to be there a half hour early, and to have waiver pre signed and filled out.
As soon as we got to the window, myself and three children, they told us we were late. Then they asked us to scan the waiver with our phone which my phone cannot do. They just said we couldnt go out today. I asked for a manager and was told that the manger would just say the same. I continued to to to tell them what happened, but three female workers said i was cutting them off and then shut the window in my face.
The manager came and told me he hears this all the time and basically did not help.
As this was unfolding another 2:30 group rocked up. Nobody told them they were late. Apparantly the manger told me they had pre filled their waivers. Although they came after us for the same slot, they were allowed to go.
I would like to add that my son is 14 years old and dressed in Distinctive orthodox jewish clothes where the other party was obviously not.
I hate to playany race card, but something was really awry in this encounter.
I explained to the manager that i am a health care worker who worked through Covid. This was the only day my kids had off. I took the day off from work to have some special time with them. Only to experience this major disappointment.
If you do go here, do not go to the zoo first.
Do not wear anything to distinguish yourself.

While marketed as for "7 and up" this is highly deceptive. Your child must be able to reach a 5'6 mark while flat foot (or so we were told at the front desk where my child was denied entry. On the course, my husband was told an entirely different story, but by that point, my youngest and I were sitting in the car while the rest of the family was on the course). Their customer service has so far been non-existent. The phone number I was given to call has an old recorded message from March saying the course is not open. Emails have gone unanswered.

Just as advertised, a great way to get out in the woods and test your self in a way that simple hiking can't. Each climbing course even the beginner course really does take you quite a ways off the ground. Each really engages the whole body and provides some test of balance and coordination. And to a lesser extent, there is some problem solving as you are required to move you and your harness through the various obstacles. You don't need to have climbing experience but you definitely want have some level of confidence in you general fitness and heights. The Zip Only section requires little fitness but even here, there are two narrow spiral staircases and a short rope bridge to navigate. I saw people of all allowed ages and heights navigate the Zip Only section successfully. All the facilities are in excellent condition and inspire total confidence in the structural integrity. The provided harness and straps are also excellent and easy to master, especially with the assistance of the patient and knowledgeable staff. The staff will definitely will take the time for the total newby that may need a little remedial instruction following their initial tutorial. And they will monitor your progress through a course and provide tips if you are struggling a bit with any one of them. Check in is simple. No need to print tickets - can be scanned from smart phone. The base camp facilities are adequate. The mini lockers have programmable combo locks so no padlock is required. There is a limited choice of beverages for sale and can only be purchased with card (no cash). But there is a water station, so bringing a water bottle even only used at base camp is a good idea. Both the optional (additional cost) smart phone pouch and climbing gloves are good quality. The glove has no tips on thumb, index, and middle fingers for complete dexterity. The gloves are not required but I like the extra protection for unintended occurrences and to keep sweaty palms from becoming an issue. I absolutely loved this experience provides a rare outdoor adventure that one would normally have to travel far out of a city to find. Will definitely to this again.

Located just outside the Bronx River Gate, this zipline (we didn't do the treetop walking) is definitely fun for kids. It's a two-way zipline across the Bronx River, and the staff was very helpful and professional.
