- John SMelbourne, Australia1,886 contributionsWorth the timeThis is a really interesting tour almost all of which is outdoors in the undercover areas of the stadium. We went on a cold winter day and were glad we were rugged up because the wind was bitterly cold. There's some great history everywhere but particularly the museum area. Shop prices were a little in the high side.Visited December 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten January 3, 2023
- 1GiantsMSRedwood City, California1,205 contributionsGreat place to watch gameGreat place to visit and experience. We arrived early and got in line for monument park. Definitely worth waiting in line and touring the plaques of so many great Yankee players. We were able to do a 360 degree walk around the park and get a variety of views. The Yankee fans were friendly and the stadium staff were friendly and helpful Our seats (two games) gave us a great view of the game. Lots of excitement from the fans. Highly recommend field level seats, The concessions were about the same as several other stadiums.Visited April 2023Written April 2, 2023
- John S60 contributionsGood times with family and friendsfantastic ball park. Very traditional as well as modern. No place like Yankee Stadium. Can be a bit pricey, but the Italian sausage heros are fun, especially the hot sausage. I like the first base side lodge seats the best.Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 3, 2023

Loos are really good for a sports stadium. Food a bit over priced but expect that at a game.Visited April 2023Written April 8, 2023
- Chris WLondon, United Kingdom53 contributionsIf you're a fan of baseball, go. If you're not, go anywayThe Yankees are the Manchester United of baseball. A huge franchise, with a storied past and it's been too long since they won anything. They are the team of Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle. If you know nothing about baseball, you might have heard of one of them. Teams play 162 games a season, so tickets are easy to get. They range from VERY EXPENSIVE INDEED to really amazingly cheap, depending on where you sit. The stadium is very easy to reach - two subway lines run there - and you will get a welcome. There are loads of staff, all very friendly. And the atmosphere is great. They put on a show - there is lots to see and do, and they keep the crowd entertained. There is no aggro, no tension and no edge. Loads of places to eat and drink (beer and a dog is traditional), although it's not cheap. It's a great experience. We loved it.Visited April 2023Written April 9, 2023
- BethKent, United Kingdom4 contributionsA MUST when visiting NYC!This was such a great day out especially after the full on tourist-y days we had had prior to this. The game we saw started at 1pm so gave us a nice lay in and time for a big brekkie. Subway took us all the way there and the subway at the other end is right near the stadium… just followed the crowd! Easy entry, no fuss! Found our seats easily, had a few beers and a dog (of course!) Prices were expensive… but nothing different from New York prices. Our seats were Row 1 Section 126 ($30- so the very cheap end) but oh my goodness they were perfect! I don’t think it would matter where you sat in the stadium, you get an incredible view, easy access to bars and the loo. Even on a day where the weather was chilly and grey, the whole experience was incredible! From the whole trip to NYC, this was definitely one of my top 5 things to do! ⚾️🇺🇸❤️Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 14, 2023

- Matt SBrighton, Michigan2,311 contributionsBeautiful StadiumYankee Stadium is a (new) classic, without a doubt. With iconic views from the outside, and nods to more than a century of history throughout the inside, this stadium is a baseball fan's icon. There are tons of varied concessions throughout the stadium, and great sight lines throughout. Monument park within the stadium is very much well worth the wait pre-game.Visited June 2022Written April 19, 2023

It was a great visit - perfect weather and a complete game shutout for Gerrit Cole. We can’t wait to visit again. Go Yankees!Visited April 2023Traveled with friendsWritten April 20, 2023

Good views and a sunny day to watch the visiting team (Blue Jays) win since we were visiting from Toronto. It’s interesting to see the differences in ball park. The prices for food and beverages are similar but the portions are huge in NY!Visited April 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten April 30, 2023

Performance Amazing, Organization Terrible
My first time going to a Bad Bunny Concert, it was amazing. His performance was top notch, I loved every single second of his performance. The way Yankee Stadium staff had it organized made no sense. When you first enter; it's jam packed, what do you expect? However, Yankee Stadium staff did nothing to rectify it. No clear cut directions on where to go and what to do. My fiancé and I ended up waiting on a man made line, to find out there was no reason to do that, because people who were just coming off the train were cutting in, and the staff did nothing about it. We waited around 50 minutes to an hour to purchase merchandise at the tables, because only 2 staff members were stationed there. You had months to plan this and the organization was complete trash.
In our seats, there were people throwing popcorn/cracker jacks from the section above thinking it was a joke. The merchandise I spent $330 on got sticky and ruined, because again Yankee Stadium Staff did nothing. Only when the girl behind us was fed up and went to tell the staff, did they finally come out to survey to see if it happened again. Surely you think this is something they would be on top of? People are spending $300-$400+ for tickets, and expensive merchandise, only to have clowns think it's funny to throw food.
Again, Bad Bunny was great, I loved his concert, and would love to go again, but I would stay far away from Yankee Stadium.

The #1 worst process to get paying ticket holders into the stadium. The Yankees pay their players $250 million but can’t manage to organize an efficient system to get fans past security. The management should be ashamed of themselves. Perhaps they were more focused on the Judge negotiations.

Ticket office is terrible. Posted hours are 9-5 on the website, but when you get there, not open until just before game time. They don't answer the phone, unlike every other business that has people answering the phone remotely. Instead, just auto computer prompts, but never a person. They don't respond to emails. Just horrible.

I attempted to arrive early to get inside stadium to check out the Yankee museum, food offerings, merchandise outlets , bathroom locations etc. The first hurdle for me was the entrance line of fans at Gate 2 …security needed to check each and every bag / purse at the gate- they should have a quick walk in line for attendees WITHOUT a BAG. This slow down caused me to basically rush through the gate, up to my 4th level seat section , I just made it for the first pitch after player introductions.

Reasonable tour of an iconic stadium but it felt very rushed.
The guides were entertaining and engaging but sadly they were more focused on getting the tour complete within the hour so they could begin the next tour.
The museum was good but there was very little chance to linger and read the masses of info as the guides hurried you through so they could continue.
Ideally the tour should end here so customers can enjoy some time in the museum seeing the history of the Yankees before leaving.

I’ve been to a lot of stadiums in the US and this is one of the best I’ve been to for sure. Would suggest it’s worth a visit while you’re in New York. We took a direct train from Herald Square and it only took around 20 minutes.
There is a lot of food choices, might be worth checking in advance to see what you’re gonna want to eat to make sure you don’t miss out. We had the chicken & drink combo mainly for the instagram photo, tip for this would be make sure you get enough sauce as was slightly dry.
We paid $12 for our tickets and were in section 406. In July we were in direct sun until around the third inning. Also from this section you can’t really see the big screen which changes the experience slightly. Near the end of the game we walked down and watched from the concourse of the second tier and the atmosphere was 10 times better then in the 4th tier. If I were to go again I’d pay the money to sit in at least the second tier it seemed to be a much better experience.

Yankee Stadium is a must visit for all die hard baseball fans. I was a huge Derek Jeter fan growing up, so this was a must-do when I moved to New York. It truly feels like you are experiencing baseball history from the moment you are waiting to get into the ballpark. I recommend everyone to come a bit early to visit Monument Park, which closes about 45 minutes before the game. The stadium itself is only a few years old so it’s in great condition. And whether or not you’re a Yankees fan, the atmosphere is enjoyable and experience is fantastic.

We had a rain delay so it diminished our overall stadium experience but that's not anyone's fault. Common to post covid some places are no longer operating including some smaller food places at the stadium. I am not a sausage or hot dog person so it affected my experience. Line of sight was good but honestly of the 3 stadiums we saw in two weeks, these tickets were the most expensive and the furthest away from the field. Yes, you should go it's historic!

I wish on the ticket itself it told you which gate would be your closest entrance.
Also, the 'baricades' to create the line-up kept moving, so it was unclear where to go line up.
First time at Yankee staduim and I loved some of the 'memorable events' that are posted - MVP ball players over time.
Happy to have multiple merchandise options throughout various areas.
Very happy for escalators to get up to top levels.

I’ll begin this by saying that I am not an avid baseball fan but love the history of the game. We have been to a number of stadium tours in some major cities and this tour was among the best. Although the stadium is not on the site of the original one, the museum and monument park gave us the chance to experience the amazing history of this ball team. These two places alone made the cost of the tour worth it! Our tour also included a visit to the field and dug out. Our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. I highly recommend arranging a tour of the stadium. It took us a while to figure out where to meet our tour guide….the meeting spot is inside the Hardrock Cafe. Also, we were on a tour that left an the quarter hour and we had a private tour, it seemed like the ones leaving on the hour were far busier. Certainly worth a try a try to schedule a tour not on the hour because having Yankee Stadium to ourselves was nothing short of magical! The stadium is easily accessible by subway.

What gate do I enter Yankee stadium if I’m sitting in section 225
Andrew Mckelvie
Rutherglen, UK18 contributions
You’ll be fine entering at any gate, the far side of the stadium at the bleachers is the car park so no seating access.
The rest of the gates are on the ground floor which has the main shops and food stands and good areas for pics, you’ll be located one floor up which can be easily accessed from any stair well on the ground floor.
We went last week as tourists at 322 and came in at possibly the furthest point away but the security don’t mind and it’s cool to walk through the stadium
