Many exhibits with lots to see. Good for all ages. A building specifically on logging history, a building about Adirondack recreation , one about living in the wild, and another on hunting and fishing and so much more. Something for young ones in each building...More

Located in the beautiful and peaceful Adirondack Mountains (NY), there is something for everyone at the Adirondack Experience! Special events and workshops are scheduled throughout the summer. Interactive activities for "explorers" of all ages!! Spend a few hours or the entire day!!

I went with a few friends and young child last week. The museum is bigger than expected with lots of attractions and preserved buildings on site. You do have to walk outside between the different buildings. Cost is $20 per adult, but you can find...More

Hi, Julie, yes, most part of the campus are accessible, and staff members provide assistance where needed. Wheelchairs are available at admissions, and there are scooters available for rent. The path to the cafe... More

Dogs need to remain outside the museum, where there is dog-walking area. Humans can go in and out of the museum as often as they like.
