Lots of learning activities that are fun, including NY State-related phenomenon (e.g. Erie Canal exhibit where kids learn how locks work by a hands-on pumping activity). They can build railroad tracks with model trains, explore an ambulance and play EMT, go into a large scale...More

We have been here many times with our older grandson, and now are taking the younger grandchildren. They are just as happy with this place as my older grandson was in years passed. Such a great place for kids

Great place for young children. My two girls had a great time and lots of fun, they both loved the supermarket.. the gardens and mini golf outside are good for the children as well.

This is a blast when you are a kid! Definitely take them there, a lot to learn and not know you are learning and just a fun environment all around.

We have been going here for years for birthday parties and for day trips. A lot of safe activities for children located near Ross Park Zoo. Highly recommended!

This is our second time here and my boys love it! Having an 11 year old and 4 year old is hard finding them to do things together but they both love it. We enjoyed the outside as well because it was mild today. We...More

There are alot of great displays. The only problem with so many is the kids bounce from one to another and don't know what to do next With young kids I would suggest picking a few displays for each visit,More

Thank you for visiting! If your children are younger than 5, we are open to toddlers only, that's birth through pre-k, on Mondays from 10am-3pm. That way our youngest visitors can enjoy the museum without bigger kids around. However, we are open to all ages...More

Our focus age group is 2 to 10 years of age, but older siblings seem to find more sophisticated ways of playing in the museum and enjoy it just as well. Hope to see you at The Discovery Center, soon!
