This zoo is nice with some exotic animals. The zoo is on a smaller side but its good that you dont have to walk a lot and you still get to see all the animals. The white tiger is gorgeous. This zoo is very good for a day trip and the staff there is very friendly. Dont forget the carousal... More

It was quite a small zoo (wouldn’t say the smallest zoo I have been too, but it was small nonetheless). There were a whole bunch of volunteers there working the grounds to get everything ready for the grand opening day the following week. The parking area wasn’t very big. You walk down a double size paved road, about half way... More

We visited just to ride the carousel circuit. This was our first stop and what a sad and sorry looking vintage carousel. Needs a loving restoration as the others have had. What a treasure and how sad to see it in such rough shape. It's proximity to the sheep, mini ponies and pigs meant the stench of urine was pervasive,... More

Visit to zoo with elementary school 4th graders. Fun time had by all. Prepare to climb the hill. Wear proper comfy shoes and clothes. Mostly shaded. Food and snacks served. Bagged lunch at the pavilion was nice.

Allow about two hours to visit here with kids, less with just adults. Many of the animals were interactive, especially the red panda. The zoo made for a pleasant morning out with a beautiful walk and some time with many different kinds of animals. There were youth volunteers stationed around the zoo with animal skin and bird feathers to touch,... More

This place has been the same for years. It takes about an hour to go through despite paying like its a big zoo. There are not many animals anymore either. If you can go to another zoo, I would go.

The Ross Park Zoo is a great day trip with family or friends. The price was WAY less my local zoo, very affordable! There is a FREE carousel by the entrance of the zoo. My biggest complaint about the zoo was that many habitats were up a large hill. For the elderly, it can be a bit of a challenge.... More

We decided to travel about 1.5hrs to visit this zoo. It's pretty small and they have some nice animals to see for children, but if you're not local it's not worth traveling. The most disappointing part is the amount of animals they have that have no companions. What a lonely life those animals have, alone in a cage with no... More

The Ross Park Zoo is a great family day trip. The prices are really good and not overpriced like other places. There are many exhibits that kids and adults will enjoy. I think that you should definitely visit The Ross Park Zoo.
