This is now little more than one guy with a bunch of broken-down bikes. He does not even oil them or do basic maintenance. I had to choose between bikes that made loud, growling noises (scaring the dogs on the trails) and bikes with no brakes. It is my understanding that there is new ownership as of a few months ago. That's the only possible reason I could imagine for why this subpar, dangerous situation could have earned positive reviews. I paid $30 for a bike that was misaligned and after 20 minutes of easy riding, made scary noises. The man renting the bikes talked a good game and refused to return any money. Just a horrible experience all around.…

So many red flags: - M was going to charge us $130, even though the website and in our phone conversation from the day before he said $110 + taxes. I was able to correct it before I was charged. - M did not tell us beforehand where we're going. He had zero information on the trails, stops, buildings, waterfall, Beacon, etc. This is supposed to be a tour and a tourguide's job is to tell us things about the places we're going. Otherwise, we could have just rented the bikes and save ourselves $60. - M did not explain well that he was going to leave us by ourselves because he had to go back to the rental place. He left an hour in our 2-hour "tour". - this was supposed to be my surprise gift to my partner. It ended up being a complete dud, and after spending $70 on the MTA ride from NYC to Beacon (3 hours total for commute) and $110+taxes, the tour was NOT WORTH THE MONEY AND TIME. Honestly, the only fair thing at this point is a refund for the "tour".…

Quality equipment, fair pricing, straightforward bike paths, wonderful scenery, and friendly customer service! What more could you ask for. Thanks Edward for a fun daytime excursion! The bike paths recommended are equal parts shady and sunny but bring plenty of water and don’t forget to wear sunscreen! Will visit again next time we’re in Beacon.…

Echoing everyone else, Edward is the sweetest guy. He's very kind and accommodating with describing routes and points of interest, debriefing on the bikes, and helping with bike adjustments. I rented from the Beacon stop, and the surrounding riverside/trails are great to explore via biking. The bikes themselves are also the best looking rental bikes I've seen—simple and tasteful.…
