The title says it all! Unfortunately it is due to close this month as part of a settlement with a nasty neighbor. What a loss!

The winding trails are just the start of a jaw dropping experience of the view, the landscape, humming birds, bees, and butterflies. Very hospitable kind man name Paul is so gracious to invite strangers to share in this beauty of God's creation.

This is such a special place, it is such a shame that Paul has had such grief and will have to close this next year.

Only open in the summer....absolutely worth the trip. It's on the bluff overlooking Long Island Sound...the view alone is worth the trip but the hummingbirds make this a memorable experience. They will fly right up to you and hover around you. It's just awesome!

The website said to park in the parking lot on the main road. It was about a 1/2 mile walk on a dirt road to get to the Sanctuary. Then it was a trail in the woods that was nicely marked. Wear good shoes! For...More

There is no direct phone number. The best way to reach it is via email (address on website) but even then he may not answer. Besides, sadly the sanctuary is now closed for good.
