The Savuti is a very special place. In the dry season the temperature can go up to 46C. But you will be amazed how the wildlife can survive overthere. Elephants, warthog, wild dogs, wildebeest,..... But the top is the Savuti lion pride! Enjoy !

One of our favorite stops on our 5 month trip. Bit rustic but absolutely nice place with a fantastic waterhole, u can't get closer... The bar staff could be more enthusiastic at work... but beer - if u get one- is still good ;-)

Unless you fly in it is a hard drive from either Maun or Kasane with a 4x4 but it is worth it. The Savuti channel is not flowing, but there are a couple of pumped water holes but the park is still full of everything....More

We were told that the river here hasn't run for two years. That's nature. I get that. However, man decided to interfere by creating watering holes (with a pumping system) in order to help the wildlife (and keep them around in Savute). However, those in...More

We stayed at Savute Safari Lodge and Chobe Game Lodge. Both are part of the Desert and Delta Safaris group, and both were great.
