    Beautiful beach
The most fabulous beach in Europe you will see. The water is an amazing colour and completely transparent. The sand is soft and lovely for the kids to play on. You can rent boats and go on bouncy castles on the water. Plenty of shops to buy things from. Lovely views.. the shape of the beach means you get very little breeze. 2 sun beds and a parasol is 12 euro

    Lovely day
We visited Amadoras Beach twice during our stay in Gran Canaria. It’s a beautiful beach with a variety of reasonably priced bars and restaurants. We had a takeaway pizza from one and it was delicious. Definitely worth a trip. 2 sunbeds and an umbrella was 12€ which is the going rate.

    Our daily haunt
Brilliant beach but white imported sand sharp on soles of feet. Hammocks and sombrillas at a cost ( 12€ 2x hammocks and 1x sombrilla). Some rocks on beach and quite a steep drop only 10ft out from the shoreline. Got ear infection from bathing here daily. As beach toilets cost 60cents I suspect mist persons use the water to pee in. Otherwise Brilliant. Plenty of good and bad restaurants and shops.

    Popular Beach for a reason
Busy on our visit, but not excessively so- my friend and i arrived at around 11am and had the choice of plenty of beds. You don't need to visit a counter to pay for the beds, simply sit down and the man will find you. Cash only i imagine. Beach is clean- no litter that i noticed. Some people in reviews are critical that the sand is too coarse. I dont think this is a fair criticism, like all sand its eroded bits of rock. If you have especially sensitive feet wear sandals! Water clear and clean too- plenty of space to paddle and swim

    Great little bay!
Lovely clear water with no big waves, quite shallow for a while so great for kids. A little rough underfoot but it didn't bother me, a free pedicure! There are toilet 60c a go though! Sunbed and brollies are 4€ each for the full day which is reasonable. There is an inflatable obstacle course which is 10€ for 45mins. The kids enjoyed it but it was quite overcrowded so go on first thing when it opens around 10/1030am. Loads of shops selling floats, drinks, snacks and souvenirs. Restaurants with really lovely food.

Sand was rough like broken shells
Two sunbeds and umbrella €12. Beach was not sand it was broken shells and hurt my feet. Toilets 60 cent to use, water has lots of fine tiny seaweed in. Restaurants and supermarkets there too.

A beautiful, stunning beach to visit
A beautiful, stunning beach. Very clean. The water was incredibly clear. €12 for the day for 2 beds and a brolly. Although slightly compacted for our personal liking. Small business and restaurants all around. A little bit keen to pull you in though. Had a steak meal at La Barca Gastrobar. Incredible and great value. Friendly service too. Toilets located to the centre but 60cents per visit per person was annoying. The voucher is a receipt and not a voucher for the day.

Nice bay, popular and well maintained
Lovely looking beach, definitely worth the visit. Its a nice walk round the coast from puerto rico. Buses also very regular just up from the beach at 1.40€ pp each way. Beach Can be a little rough on the feet in places but didn’t bother us. There are toilets, showers and foot washing facilities just off the centre of the beach. The beach is also lined with shops and restaurants.

Toilets, Lockers, Showers, Bars, Sunbeds and much more
What a stunning beach, has imported white/ light yellow sand giving it more of a paradise look compared to the other volcanic beaches. There are sunbeds available to hire on the projection of rocks either side of the bay if you want to catch the sun without the sand. There is an inflatable aqua adventure park with around 5 inflatable things including slides and climbing walls. The water is so clear and there is a line dividing the water sports activities from the bay. There is ample sunbeds and parasols available to hire, it was €12 for two sun beds and a parasol for the day. There are toilet (60 cents) and shower facilities (€2) available and lockers. There is a line of cafes / bars / shops along the back of the beach, all providing food and drink for reasonable prices they also offer take away so you can take back to your sunbeds. Local bus runs here and is very cheap cost around €2 a person from playa de ingles. Really recommend for a beach day ☀️👙⛱️🏝️🩱🐚

    A wonderful find
I decided to try this breach out ,after Puerto Rico beach wanted cashcard for sun loungers, Best move i ever made, Stunning beach ,lovely water to swim in . Beach is like a semi circle with ,public toilets ,shops and restaurants .in which you could just have a snack and a few beers. Totally laid back beach which you could stay on till 10 pm. Probably later but had to get back to Puerto Rico apartment. 5 euro in a taxi from Puerto Rico

Omg! This beach is amazing
We had luck cause we come earlyer in morning to take place close to water, and it was not to many people there in January
Beautifull ocean, cristal blue, and sand is white.
If you do not want to be full of sand I recommend that you rent a deck chair.
There is some of restaurants and bars if you like to have lunch or some drinks, but my opinion that they are too expensive price for what you get

Amadores is a man made beach which has been made to provide a safe place to play & sunbathe. All around the beach are restuarants and shops providing everything from "Full English" ( see my other reviews) to a full meal. 2 sun loungers and a parasol costs €12 for the day and the sun is shining from early morning to the evening. Parking is free unless you use the underground car park but it can get very busy if you're not there reasonably early

This is an usual resort nestled in a bay surrounded by mountains but wow what a beach.

The set up is strange as the shops and restaurants encircle the beach and there is a walkway which is under cover which runs between the shops and restaurants and their terraces which are to the edge of the beach.

However the beach looks like something from the Caribbean- wonderful and well worth the trip.

The cost on the bus from Playa Del ingles was about €6 each way.

This is a crowded, man-made beach which did not live up to my expectations. The colour of the water is OK, but not anywhere near what we have seen on other places. Very touristy with parking garage, souvenir shops and cheap eats.
The beach gets very crowded.
The advantage of the breakwaters that have been built though is that the waters are calm and nice for swimming.

I would recommend moving some 500 meters to Tauro beach which is not so crowded and fake.

Everything points to the beach. Good if your on the beach not so much if your in a hotel up the hill. Excellent place to explore the coast from by bus. everything you need for a good day at the beach. Not the best place if your on a budget, as your paying for a spectacular view over lunch or dinner. The Spar is expensive and has a limited range. If your self catering on a budget get the bus to a hypermarket were cost drop by around 1/3rd.

Amadores beach is beautiful even though it is apparently man made. There are lots of shops, bars and restaurants right on the beach too. It cost €12 for 2 sunbeds and a parasol for the day and they are plentiful - bring your own towel. Water is clear and protected by a harbour and roped off to make it safe to swim away from pedallos etc but water is freezing!

Beautiful beach with soft white sand that you can walk on even when it’s red hot.

The water is beautiful and clear and it’s quite calm and good for swimming.

Sun loungers are €4 each and umbrellas cost the same. Toilet is 60 cents and you can have a shower for €2 and even rent towels.

The pedalos are €15 for one hour and the inflatables cost €10. Both relatively expensive but easily ignored.

Lots of shops immediately next to the beach selling cheap ice cold drinks and some nice, well priced restaurants too.

Excellent beach, masses of nice soft sand if a little gritty (volcanic rock of the island) great for families with kids. Good selection of restaurants and shops. Amadores is sheltered bay where you can spend many hours relaxing on sun loungers at €4 a throw, parasol extra, or just visit to admire great sunsets.
