“Beautiful panoramic views”
A conservation group called "Hawk Watch" built this trail at the southern end of the Sandias as a lookout from which to observe and record the passage of hawks.

Considered moderate in intensity this is a very nice hike just off I40E on the Southern end of the Sandia Mtns. Steep in places, it is a good workout. Pay attention because side trails and runoff paths can lead you astray. Good idea to track...More
