Definitely do this one hour tour with Sam. He knows Taos, makes the hour interesting and gives you a good knowledge of the general history of Taos. My husband, son, and I were on the tour, and it was great for the 3 of us! Include this one in your Taos activities. He will introduce you to artists and back alleys you might never find yourself.

Sam was an amazing tour guide! He seemed to know every local and was able to take me into galleries to meet the owners. His visuals were also really great, complete with hand-drawn pictures (he's an artist) of important people in Taos history and photos of what the buildings used to look like when Taos was founded

Sam was our host and we are so lucky he braved the coldest day to show us taos and share his wealth of knowledge and love for taos despite the frigid air. Super way to orient yourself to the taos culture and give you an appreciation for its unique history. It is so helpful to understand a towns history; from there you can be fully open to all that it presently offers and IS. Thankyou sam!

Sam gave us an early 9am tour 9/20/21. We had a great time learning about Taos history as well as current local events. He’s a great tour guide - very personable and knowledgeable. We appreciated his tips for not only Taos activities but he also gave us some ideas for our trip to Santa Fe and some history there, too! He’s an artist himself and we learned a lot about Taos art and galleries in the area. Definitely recommend this walking tour to get a deep dive into the history and current local scene in Taos! Well-priced and only an hour long. If you're visiting Taos, this is well-worth your time!
