Riding the soft desert winds is the perfect way to celebrate your special occasions with friends, family or when there is romance in the air. And, there is no better place to enjoy it than around Taos. We fly the scenic Rio Grande Gorge as it cuts through the high desert mesa like a 650 ft. deep Grand Canyon. The famous Rio Grande River gently flows through it. As we're gently gliding and enjoying the beautiful panoramas we drop down into the Gorge and kiss the river for the most thrilling balloon ride anywhere. We see baby coyotes, deer, mountain goats and elk in the Spring, blossoming flowers, bushes and cacti in Summer, the colorful changing Fall foliage and the beautiful snow covered Sangre de Cristo Mountains in the Winter - there is always majestic beauty everywhere! Join us for your adventure of a lifetime today!

A friend recommended PBC to us so I booked immediately based on her experience. The balloon ride itself was great. It was what we expected and the weather was great. The only thing that made me rate it 'average' was that all the guys were smoking every chance they could get! We are not smokers and it was disgusting. Even... More

While we are extremely pleased you had a great ballooning experience, I am terribly sorry you had the other parts of the experience you did. I agree that this is completely unacceptable. Our pilots and crew are NOT, I repeat NOT, allowed to smoke at all when guests are present, or around our equipment, or in our vehicles. It just... More

After retiring from 40 years of teaching, I had it on my bucket list to do a retirement balloon ride over the Rio Grande in Taos. It did not disappoint!!! Kris, the pilot, was everything the reviews said....safety-conscious, (we had 2 no-fly days due to wind conditions, before we actually went up on the third day), knowledgeable, (he has been... More

Our Pilot, Chris, provide us with an amazing first ballooning experience in Taos, New Mexico. From getting us engaged in the setup, to an exciting flight down the gorge ( pointing out animals, features and area history) to a fun landing and wrap up - this was a first rate experience.

We had 8 people in our group with the eldest being 76. She was worried about getting in & out of the basket but Alex (Moose) as he just lifted her in & out. Ozzie and Alex as the ground crew were great with the release and catch of the basket after our Marshmallow landing. Chris, the pilot, is one... More

I actually did not end up getting to go up in the balloon with Christ & co. because the weather just wasn't cooperating that morning. However, I still wanted to write a review because I feel like it's important to show how concerned with safety these guys were. I trusted them completely (especially after a harrowing drive up a mountain... More

This was my first balloon ride. There were four of us with the driver Chris and on the ground, Ozzie. Great team and very skilled. We flew down into the Rio Grande gorge and touched the water. Views are awesome and inspiring too. Trip ends with champagne and snacks. Well worth it!

Chris was our pilot and he provided us with a lot of history of the area and ballooning traditions. There wasn't as much wind as he would have liked, but they are well organized and we had a great time. He was able to take us down into the gorge, which was really cool. I'd highly recommend this company.
