Was staying at a nearby hotel and found this museum by accident. If you are an antique car buff, this is a must. Not large but very impressive.

As I travel the country, I look for the small museums, etc, and this one sure met the mark. This is not only a museum but a storage/ sales facility. My advice for the reader is: Go there and prepare yourself to be impressed.

What a great place to stumble upon! I have driven by it so many times but since I was traveling with several people and one was a man I thought it might be fun to check it out. So many shiny, pretty things to look at. The owner is extremely nice as well. The man with us loved it and knew all the makes and models without looking at the info in the cars and trucks windows. He was very pleased!

We approached the museum and gift shop from the west and easily spotted it with the iconic yellow car on the top of the enormous sign pole. Vintage cars including a yellow taxi and Edsel are on the outside of the building. A quirky and fun place, you are greeted by the owner upon arrival as you enter into the gift shop portion. You can buy lots of things, but there is also memorabilia from the Mother Road as genuine antiques. We didn’t enter the museum portion as we were a bit short on time. The owner was sweet, so we picked up a few things and meandered down Business Route 40 headed for our next little piece of the 2,300 mile puzzle.

I hope the content of the museum is not reflected in the content of the gift shop. Mostly empty shelves, dusty, very underwhelming. Dust in a museum = appropriate. Dust in the gift shop = not so much.

I love old cars and this was my 1st and only "route 66" experience. After seeing the gift shop, I lost interest in seeing the museum. Bought a small magnet and that was it.

I did not get the impression that I would get a sense of what it felt like to be a traveler along Route 66 "back in the day" or learn much about those things if I went into the museum. There wasn't any toe-tapping music, no excitement, no enticing vibe.

Having a few barely interesting trashed old cars outside I think does more harm than good, as if they are supposed to be examples.

The trunk benches are wonderful.

We went to a place in Kentucky near Mammoth Cave a couple years ago that had the same problem. Went into their gift shop to buy tickets to an old west show, and got so turned off by the gift shop that we lost faith in buying tickets for the show.

Fun inexpensive stop with friendly lady host. It's not on the scale of the Rte 66 museums in Kingman AZ or Clinton OK but certainly another delightful stop along your Rte 66 travels. The gift shop was really good and we bought several items that we didn't find elsewhere. Clean rest rooms.

Good to stretch our legs but not a destination spot! Few good cars well displayed but otherwise packed with a lot of stuff laying around.

There were only about 30-35 cars to view in this smallish car museum, and too many were vintage 60s and newer. Only a dozen or so were truly rare examples. Many for sale at very high tariffs. Only a couple very high quality chassis off rebuilds. One can often see a comparable collection of classics at a weekend restoration club gathering. One major drawback was the prohibited opening of vehicle doors, reducing the interior view available to the paying public. There was little in the wy of printed historical background or provenance on the vehicles themselves. Except for the Auburn and the dazzling Chevy cab-over restoration, I was not that impressed by the collection. It took less than an hour to see the entire lot. Lastly, the caretaker was obnoxiously vaping at the cash register - this after arriving 15 mins late to open the museum. Bad form, dude.
