We had a wonderful visit to Hollywick Farms. The owners are wonderful, they are so gracious to share their farm with visitors. We learned so much about alpacas, and even got alpaca kisses. We highly recommend visiting. Just so you know, it is $5 per person, but after your tour, they apply your admission cost toward any gift shop purchase.…

My friends from Pittsburgh were in town and they were up for a little adventure ~ Bill and Kathy's farm did not disappoint. They were very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were so patient with our barrage of never ending questions. They had a nice little gift shop containing beautiful items made from alpaca fiber. The gloves I purchased came all the way from Peru!…

Bill and Kathy have a real passion for alpacas, they are such a wonderful people. Bill gave me a very informative tour of the farm, and asked all my questions. Alpacas are very friendly and cute (I got a kiss from one of the boy-alpacas!). Bought some beautiful and warm socks for my Mum, she loves them. I will definitely come back if I am ever in the neighbourhood.…

The alpacas were so cute. Bill was gracious in explaining the history of alpacas in the US. Great stop to make and learn something as well. Cute little shop has stuff made from alpaca hair.

This mom and pop alpaca farm does not have an entry fee (I hope this has changed since I visited, because it's definitely worth paying for), and/but it was such a wonderful place to visit that my friend and I left a small donation and I also bought some wool from the small store the couple owns. My friend and I were able to see the herd and to visit up close with a few of the alpacas that are OK with people. The husband (I think his name is Bill) clearly knew his alpacas well and cared about their welfare. He was able to share details of their histories and personalities. Delightful visit! Because there were just two of us we had our guide's undivided attention. I'm thinking that a large group probably wouldn't have the same experience, and the alpacas might not be as comfortable -- so I think it's best to visit alone or with a very small group.…
