Great customer service and prices. Boots very comfortable. Have to say Wildwest has best customer service in Ruidoso! We saved so much money renting here verses Ski Apache. Love the ability to reserve everything on line then walk in try on boots to ensure comfort and walk out. My husband and I were in and out in 5 minutes- love this place!

The staff at Wild West Ski Shop are great! They were so kind while helping our 10 year old granddaughter fit her ski boots and instructing her about how to release her skis if she happened to fall because “everyone falls from time to time”. They also helped our family by extending our rental over the phone, saving us extra trips to their shop. I highly recommend Wild West Ski Shop!

We rented ski gear from this shop. We had made online bookings a week earlier and they were ready with everything for our extremely large group. Newbies like us needed extra help and they treated us with patience and care. We were a large group and it was loud and chaotic but they dealt with us very professionally. They gave us instructions on the return process which was also very smooth.

Been renting with wild west for years, and they have the most friendly staff in the world. Pretty good prices , specially if you reserve online.

Great Prices -especially if you reserve Online. Okay/Average equipment (i.e. on 'regular rentals', we can't comment on any "performance Demo" equip since we didn't rent that type). Older fella (manager/owner?) could use some /Friendliness 101 classes/ but the younger staff were patient & great. Very easy and fast Check-out/Check-in, took us only about 30 mins at check out and maybe 5-10 mins with return. I also rented from "Alto Ski shop" up the road. In comparison, seemed like Alto was equal in equip quality & service efficiency. Think they were friendlier than WW, but with slightly higher prices than WW.

Wild West has provided ski equipment for our group of special needs kids for a couple of years now. I cannot say enough great things about them. The staff is knowledgeable and crazy patient -- fitting ski equipment for special needs kids isn't easy and they are always amazing. They have everything you need and will give you whatever advice you need. They know what they are doing. Highly recommend.

Easy Online pre order and when we got to Wild West we had a few changes of equipment. They had everything ready for our pick up and was accommodating to changing a few of our original request. Pick up was smooth and done within 10 Minutes. Drop off of equipment was equally flawless! Wild West had enough employees on staff to take care of their PEAK check out/in processes.
Will use this shop again for ALL future ski needs... Close to Ski Apache so did not have to go out of way to find them and was easy to get in and out of parking lot.

Haven't skied in a few years, but grew up skiing in Switzerland.
Never even owned anything Ski-related here in the USA.
These guys, shout out to DAN, were ultimate pros. Supplied us with everything we needed, and did so with a smile amidst the crazy tourists like me, trying to get their gear.
Kudos to Wild West Ski Shop.

Friendly people, good service. Reasonable good gear. Not super new. If you reserve on internet it is quicker and with a discount.
