We enjoyed this golf course. The fairways and greens were in very good shape. There are a number of interesting holes here which offer challenge to the mid-handicap player. Would definitely play this course again and it was better than the other course we played in town.

This is a fun little course. I played it over Thanksgiving weekend. At $35 and being to enjoy mid 50s weather it was a welcomed break from the holiday grind. Club personnel and carts were nice. Relatively easy layout makes for a relaxing, ego boosting round.

This was a great course to play for a mixed group of beginners and novices. Some good, straightforward holes mixed with some challenging dog legs and hilly greens made for a great time for everyone. Well kept fairways and greens. The snack bar was closed when we went and that kind of sucked.

Next to the lodge now called MCM Elegante, within 100 yards,is a links type course, with the longest holes at about 6600 yards. The course was built on the former Ruidoso airport.THe runways were broken up, and the rubble was piled up in mounds, covered with sod,and seeded. There must be 150 of them, ranging from 6 ft.to 12 feet high. The fairways are lined with... More

Had no idea this course was such a nice venue. Everybody was friendly, especially the starter. Course is not tricked up, it's right there out in front of you. Greens were superb.

We played this golf course during our stay. We truly enjoyed it. It took us several holes to get used to the greens since they were unlike the greens we see in South Texas. Well maintained course.

Was here for the golf, and even though it was raining a bit this day had a stellar time! Greens are fantastic and the fairways are flawless. I typically golf in Texas where the ground is always hardpan and grass is dry so was so nice to golf on soft ground with lush grass and mild temperatures!! Will be back... More

Golf shop was a little busy & they tend to care for their regulars more than visitors so we got our cart 45 mins after tee time. Course was beautiful & well maintained.

It's a fun course and the staff is super! The are friendly and accommodating - even to the point of offering to put our carts in the cart shed while an afternoon shower blew thru. In the summer, plan ahead for a morning tee time if you can or have your rain gear for the afternoon showers that often blow... More
