We went on the 11am snowmobiling tour and it was great! We had people ages 4-80 and everyone had a wonderful time. We mostly rode double snowmobiles but did have one adult and a small child on a single. My brother in law is a man of size (300lb+) and he was able to Ride a double with a passenger. We had kids aged 4,7,13,15,18,19 and adults 41-80 and everyone loved it. We rode in a line for a while and then they let us out on our own around a beautiful huge ranch. It was so much fun, my family cannot wait to go again. The snow is thin right now but it's supposed to snow tonight, I imagine you could go even faster with more snow. There was a fun steep hill that was like a roller coaster (even my 4 year old nephew and 77 year old mom loved it). They also have a great sledding hill. Our kids had a great time sledding on it. We appreciated the staff, Hank was very helpful and his cute little dog was adorable. They had very nice dogs at the ranch and I recommend bringing a couple treats for them if you're a dog person. The booking was simple, and paying was also easy, they provided helmets and we used our own googles. Overall, I cannot recommend it enough, it was well worth the drive and cost we would go again for sure.

Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures has officially been added to our annual vacation destinations. Our family went on the 2 hour sunset snowmobiling adventure and it was better than we could have ever expected. The staff is hands down, the friendliest, most attentive and respectful group of people I’ve ever encountered. These guys answered questions, started snow mobiles for those of who aren’t great listeners and checked on everyone throughout the ride to ensure we were safe and having a good time. As a first time snowmobiler, I never once felt unsafe or scared with these guys checking on me multiple times. As the sun set , the sky morphed into the most remarkable site. This wave of clouds went from white, to orange to pink/red. It was incredible and I’m so thankful we were able to experience it in such a beautiful area.

I’m 100% sure this amazing attention to the customer and experience is something this staff learned from the owners. I had the pleasure of chatting with Henry multiple times on the phone and then in person when we arrived for our adventure and he is an absolute jewel. Worried about whether we would be able to snowmobile due to lack of snow, Henry offered up alternatives to ATV instead, had us down on the list for both as a back up and had me call the day before to check in and confirm to see if there had been enough snow fall. He was an absolute joy to work with.

We will absolutely be back to enjoy all Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures has to offer in the summer and winter.

My wife and I participated in the Cowboy Evening Dinner and the UTV Tour at BPWA. The dinner (steak or chicken and cowboy type sides and dessert) was very good and the entertainment (Syd Masters) was excellent. We ate comfortably inside a metal pole barn that had a stage and was filled with picnic tables. Rain comes almost daily and quickly, so the barn makes it more comfortable in case of bad weather.

The UTV tour was excellent. We had our own UTV to drive (provided) and followed the guide and group on the mountain trails. Michael was very personable and provided interesting historical information along the way. The trails on the tour were not crowded at all. I have both rented a jeep and taken a "jeep" tour before on previous visits to Red River, and this UTV tour was more enjoyable than I expected and a great value.

I would participate in both the dinner and UTV tour again on a return trip and recommend them to other visitors.

We had such a great time today for our snowmobile tour. We had originally booked doubles, and the owner convinced us to do singles and we are so glad we did! The guides were super knowledgeable and very nice. The views can’t be beat and you have plenty of time to play. Worth every penny!! Also there’s some cute dogs that tag along

My family (two adults, two kids 9 and 12) went to Bobcat Pass for three events this week in Red River.

The two hour horseback ride was smooth and the horses were easy going. We had a group of probably 12 people, two guides and at least three of the staff’s friendly dogs that joined us on the trail.

The UTV ride was exciting, enough steep slopes and tight turns to keep it fun, but never dangerous even for a novice. Michael was a great guide with interesting knowledge about the history of the region. The views of the region were spectacular.

The Cowboy Evening entertainment was a fun family event and the steak dinner was great too The staff are all incredibly friendly, super folks. There’s no better way to enjoy the outdoors in beautiful Red River than with Bobcat Pass.

We visited as a group of 8 with 4 adults and 4 kids, ages 5-11. Every single one of us had so much fun! We did a guided ATV tour where each family drove an atv on the trail. Skeeter was our tour guide and he was hands down the BEST guide we had out entire trip! Extremely knowledgeable but also very funny and entertaining. The views are beyond amazing. The trails had a good mix of smooth and rocky areas, but each driver can control how fast/slow you go. This was the highlight of our trip and we highly recommend! You will get very dusty/dirty just FYI. We had masks because of COVID-19 restrictions and while we didn’t need to wear in ATV tour, we were glad we had because of all of the dust.

We travelled to Red River, NM in Jan for a family snow trip. Like dummies we didn't book any snowmobile tours the moment we got into town and by the 2nd day in Red River, all city vendors were booked. The family really wanted to go out on snowmobiles so I was ready to call Eagles Nest, Angel Fire, where ever. Luckily I ran across Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures. They are just a few miles outside Red River. I reached out and luckily they had some spots open for me to reserve.
I have no regrets booking with these folks. Very professional, very friendly and they allow you to have fun! We just loved the tour they took us on. The mountain views were spectacular. Then they gave us the freedom to open up the throttle in an open area and boy did I. I was a little sore afterwards but it was a blast!!!! I will definitely book with them again.
Thank you Bobcat Pass Wilderness Adventures!

My husband and I called around to different places that offer snowmobile tours. The woman who answered the phone was so sweet and helpful (unlike some of the other places we called)!

We drove over 2 hours from Santa Fe (4 hour round trip)for the 11:00am snowmobile tour. Everything that the website said was 100% accurate.
We had an AWESOME time! The people who work at Bobcat Pass are super nice and friendly.
The tour guide was personable and knowledgable.
I highly recommend Bobcat Pass Wilderness!!!

Almost all of the crew at ECC Solar made it to Bobcat Pass for the snowmobile tour, and we were all glad we did! Great crew, tour guide , snow cat operator, Everybody was wonderful. All snowmobiling outfits were included, for those who may not have come prepared. Twenty machines hit the trail for two hours of powder ripping, and not a single break down or hiccup. Finished off the day at the local Saloon. Five Star for sure!

Day after Christmas the family went on this amazing snowmobile adventure. The guides were extremely professional and the equipment was in great shape. After a short guided trip with stops for scenic pictures we were "let loose" in a HUGE meadow to ride. Everyone had a blast racing and tearing up some fresh powder! Will defiinetly keep this on our "to do" list for our Christmas vacations in the mountains of New Mexico!
