As noted by other reviewers, the food was very good and so was the music. We had a great steak and the show was entertaining. I like to know the practical matters of a new place so I will mention three things that could be helpful to future visitors. First, you will be sitting on a hard bench for three... More

We had the best time ever on the ATV tour! My wife, who is not adventurous, even had a blast driving her own ATV through the mountain wilderness. The guides were great too! We did the Chuckwagon dinner the night before. Food was fantastic and entertainment was good. Our teenagers were not digging the entertainment much though. A little to... More

This is about a chuckwagon dinner, a common-enough tourist experience in the West. The difference is that THIS one offers top-of-class food and a Western singing show with Grammy-winning talent. If you get the chance, go! Food first: The family patriarch is the grill cook, and his wife developed the marinades and spices they use. Even more important is the... More

I am from the Texas panhandle and moved to Illinois years ago. When my family visits TX, we always make a side trip to the Red River area and have enjoyed several horseback rides and cowboy evenings at Bobcat Pass. This year our guide for our horseback ride was Jessica. Jessica was super friendly and from my hometown. She shared... More

I happened to drive by, stopped in and they graciously accommodated me immediately for an hour long horseback riding adventure. The trails were beautiful, winding through the mountainside. Kayla was a wonderful and knowledgeable host.

We had heard about "mountain scams" before but had heard that these guys were pretty good. Our actual experiences with them were good but the sales staff and management left a lot to be desired so be careful and stand your ground with them. When we called them we wanted to book a horseback ride and a ATV trip and... More

My hubby and I just enjoyed our 8th Cowboy Evening. The steaks are the best I've ever had! Great entertainment by Michael and Jeff. This is a must when we are in Red River!

What a great experience! We went to the cowboy dinner with a group of 25... from young kids to grandparents. The environment is simple but authentic. The staff, which includes the owners and their family, was very friendly and helpful. The food was outrageously good. And the entertainment was fun for our whole family. Well, honestly, more fun for the... More
