We were in Red River to visit a friend. He suggested this company for a tour. We had a great time. Our professional tour guide, Trey Fortenberry, was awesome. His vast knowledge of New Mexico history took our trip to the next level. We would highly recommend New Mexico Adventure Co. & Trey.

Trey and WeGo were fantastic guides. The adventure was so much fun and the Mountain View’s were spectacular. Hope to come back to Red River and go again.

Went up to Goose Lake from Red River, NM for overnight camping and photography. That is a 3,000 ft. difference up a narrow and bumpy road but well worth it. You get airborne a few times because of its roughness, but the view at the alpine lake is great. Our driver, Trey, was very skilled and knowledgeable about the environment, history of mines in the area, etc. If you camp, be prepared for temperature drops and wind. The ride itself reminds me of some adventurous Disney rides, you have to hold on.

This road was a bit scary and lives have been lost...but just this week a bulldozer has gone up and down this route and while it added quite a few speed bumps and drainage improvements you can get proper off road vehicles up and down. The narrow spots were widened and the two boulders moved for smooth passage. This company does this best if you want a driver and tour guide. Trey and his dog weego were terrific. It is bumpy folks...not for people with back problems or haha recent rib injuries. Longest 8 bull riding seconds of your life. 3 hours of abs and core muscle at work here but the destination is very rewarding. Great history along the way and a good chance of spotting mulies and bears.

I highly recommend this fantastic experience. We enjoyed listening to the history during the tour through the Red River Mountains. During our trip we participated in gold panning and were taught how to properly pan for gold. We would recommend this experience to others that are interested and well worth the price of admission.
