Patchwork Phoenix is a welcome addition to Raton, New Mexico. Whether you are looking for a quilting class or sewing supplies, an ice cream cone, local art or even a comforting cup of exotic tea look no farther than Patchwork Phoenix. Owners Laura and Hal are welcoming and very helpful. The store is located on 1st Street in historic old town Raton near the rail station.

Good ice cream at a good price. Friendly, helpful staff. Whole store is about fabric arts.
They could extend their hours on weekends, but understandable if traffic doesn't warrant it.

Set your kids and husband at the counter or at a table to eat ice cream while you shop for quilting supplies. It's fun and tasty. Old fashion soda in a bottlewill quench your thirst. Solar roasted coffee will keep you going. Old fashion fun while you shop or wait for your quilter. The owners are friendly and informative about activities in the area. Enjoy!

This shop is very cute and the atmosphere is inviting. It has a great historic downtown location across from the train station.
The ice cream flavor choices include Spumoni, Rocky Road, and Peppermint Stick among others. All can be ordered in cones or in a glass bowl to eat at their cozy tables.
In the back of their shop they have quilting supplies and other gift items.
The owners are super friendly and helpful.
A very welcoming and fun place to visit.

I went twice. First on the 4th of July, with some distant cousins, before the local parade started, when the kids spotted the huge ICE CREAM sign, then a couple of days later, alone, after I tasted their yummy spumoni ice cream on my first visit!! :))) On my 2nd visit I got acquainted with the owners and enjoyed seeing the variety of items they carried, including her quilts! I also liked that they carried Root Beer made with real cane sugar!! The husband & wife team were very friendly and loved greeting every individual who walked in! They would really like more locals to visit them! Loretta W.

My wife and I have been to over 180 quilt shops as we travel and I really enjoyed this one as rather than sitting in the car I went inside and had rocky road ice cream. My wife enjoyed the fabrics and the owner was friendly and helpful.
