Description:

Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary....

Just north of Santa Fe is Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs’ secluded sanctuary. Deemed sacred by Native Americans of Northern New Mexico, our legendary waters have been soothing body, mind and spirit naturally for centuries. Ojo is the only hot springs in the world with 4 unique, sulfer-free mineral waters. The resort is historic, yet modern and fresh with eclectic charm in a relaxed and tranquil environment. The full-service spa offers a wide array of restorative treatments including nurturing massage and hydrating face and body treatments. Don’t miss a soak in a private outdoor pool by fire at night or in the seasonal, detoxifying mud pool. We offer an unpretentious and uncomplicated atmosphere with a variety of lodging accommodations including enchanting suites, charming cottages, the historic hotel and private homes. All lodging includes access to all mineral pools every day of your visit. The Artesian Restaurant provides a casual dining experience and charming atmosphere. Our chef blends local flavors with global cuisine. Creative dishes include Green Chile Crusted Salmon, homemade pasta, and Ribeye. Lighter fare is available in the Wine Bar & Lounge. Yoga classes are offered 7 days a week. Ojo is nestled in a valley on 1,100 acres and is adjacent to thousands of acres of hiking and mountain biking trails. We suggest that you make reservations for spa treatments, private outdoor pools and dinner before you arrive.

My friend and I spent a great day here soaking, getting treatments, having lunch, soaking some more and just generally relaxing. It is a great value!

The pools are small and hot ! Good place for Spring, Fall, or Winter. Too hot in summer. Very pretentious place. People act like the place is the only hot springs in the world. Too expensive.. Should be about 33% less.. Our hotel room did not even have a shower. Once in the pools, people must whisper... We joked, that... More

Plan a smarter visit to better enjoy the full comforts of this SPA! Here are my TIPS: Enjoy the first half of day exploring the region between Santa Fe and Taos. Heck, you may even want to hike to one of several natural hot springs in the area. Let the prime crowds begin to fade by arriving around 3 PM.... More

We went to Ojo Caliente over the July 4th weekend and had a great time. The pools were warm and relaxing and the mud bath made my skin feeling soft and smooth. There were several young adults making too much noise in one of the pools; the staff promptly addressed the issue and asked them to keep the noise level... More

Compared to 10,000 Waves, this place is very lacking. This private springs pool is ok but the general clientele is not very respectful of peace and relaxation in the public areas. The staff seems annoyed at the massive amounts of people (most of whom leave a mess and are loud). Just ok, prob won't be back...

I am contacting you on regards of my previous visit to the Ojo Caliente Spa on Tuesday 6/28/2016. I was really disappointed with my visit. When I called to make the reservation for my boyfriend and myself to enjoy one of your private Kiva pools I was greeted over the phone by a less than enthused employee. She seemed uninterested... Such a fun place to go. The pools are all warm and inviting. The ambiance is amazing (lots of whispering going on here)...the mud pool is a real kick! I want to go back and spend the night here. The hotel guests have the place to themselves at night and I can only imagine how beautiful the stars are.

A friend and I went for a day trip--massages, mud baths and soaking. Big mistake.. Should've stayed over at least one night. So very hard to leave. After our massages, we steamed then went to the mud bath. Bad timing, as the sun went behind the clouds so it got a little chilly. Immersed ourselves in the mud pool, showered... More

The billboards advertise Tranquillo but this spa is far from it. While waters and setting are sublime the spa is not at all quiet and it is not easy to relax here. On my Sunday evening visit the fee was $30 and the mud baths had just closed. There is no notice on their website or marketing materials about these... More
