Great museum but it seems to have forgotten about the Rough Riders and had way more other stuff that didn't even pertain. Sad that it changed.

My son recognized Teddy Roosevelt from the "Night at the Museum" movies, so we went to the free museum. There were lots of activities for kids and lots of old items from Teddy's days. My son especially loved the hats and stand-up Teddy that you...More

My brother and I toured thru NE New Mexico and saw beautiful vast open spaces. If you are ever in the area this is a must. Not a great museum - just a simple dedication (if you travel the US West, you know what I...More

This museum has wonderful exhibits and information about the very colorful history of Las Vegas New Mexico. The docent provided additional interesting facts and answered questions knowledgeably.

My husband is a US history buff and so we hit all of the war museums etc. I even found this one very interesting. Not too big and was run that day by a veteran who had great stories.
