If you're into space stuff and memorabilia, spend some time here and at the adjacent museum. No entry fee. Lady working there was enthusiastic and enjoys hearing/telling visitors' stories about how they are affiliated with space programs.

Each water tank mural tells a different story about the area. So much nicer than seeing a big, ugly brown tank. Wish more places would do something like this. Kudos to the amazing artist for his wonderful and inspiring work!

The water tanks on the North side of Las Cruces are painted with a beautiful muriel. Conquistadors, horses, desert colors. It was the first city water tank I ever saw that was painted, and I now think all water tanks should be painted.
