Great place to shop for antiques, modern art pieces and small local items. Friday nights are often open gallery nights with food trucks, music and a chance to meet local artists.

I purchased a lovely necklace and would have loved to have bought a painting, but it was too large for for the flight. Next time I'll drive!

Obscura is a good name. Full of strange and interesting art. Far from the typical art galleries, it is worth a visit to widen your horizons!

Yes, the Art Obscura Gallery is quirky! Yes, they showcase local artists in their two floors of gallery space. Yes, they always have something that evokes emotion or a memory if you hunt around in there enough. But, wait! They also host Poetry Slams every...More

I stopped in to check out Art Obscura during a brief trip to Las Cruces. I spent nearly an hour admiring their small gallery of works by local artists. In the adjoining room there is a number of gifts and vintage items for sale. The...More

Sort of out of the way, maybe just not my taste- I was hoping to see more local art and antiques. Felt like college art really funky- maybe interesting to look at but not something I'd hang on the wall. Not many antiques at all.

Eclectic mix of art and collectables! Stopped in to check the place out and found tons of cool stuff from original artwork, handmade jewelry, tshirts, antique toys and collectables! I will continue to be a customer, you should stop by and check the place out!

This place wasn't what I expected, being smaller than anticipated & more a showcase for local & emerging artists than a gallery or "art shop" in the usual sense. Not a place for high-end art, certainly, but I love that they give locals a place...More

So many interesting things/art to explore packed into a small place. Some of the best stuff is upstairs, "hidden" away in a tiny room. Take your time with this one, folks.

I like the big painting on the outside of the building. A child with a wagon. The art is a little over the top for me but it is interesting. You never know what is on display.
