This is the largest land grant university in the US we were told. It is Big, and has nice buildings and open areas. They have a lot of activities, and we heard lots of great stories and good reviews about the University.

I attended an event in the student union building. It was well organized and well run. The catering was very good.

Nice seemingly safe campus. Picturesque with room to roam. Campus has a nice vibe. Lots of good restaurants near by. Close to a “real” city(El Paso) where you can experience a large city excursion full of great shopping and restaurant choices.

It's a small stadium without a bad seat in the house. Pistol Pete rides a stallion leading the players out of the locker room. There is an Australian shepherd dog that retrieves the tee after a kick-off. Lots of family fun. Easy parking. Rather see...More

This University is a hidden gem in southern NM. It is easy to walk and the landscaping and views of the mountains are memorable.

I spent some time riding around the campus at NMSU and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the look of the buildings, and like most university areas, there are many restaurants within walking distance. The student association building was really neat architecture.

Hi there, First, you might want to know about the guest fee the summing pool has, which is 10$ per day. There is a membership but I guess it only applies for the relatives of students, staff and faculty members (I am not... More
