This is a great place to see farm and ranch animals up close. They also usually have demonstrations going on and interactive things for kids. The art and artifacts inside tell a good history of the area and as a venue, it is beautiful.

Inside is great. Outside the fences keep people too far away from the animals. Everything was clean making it very enjoyable.

So glad you enjoyed the Museum. Regarding the outside double fences, they are necessary because our number one priority is the safety of our visitors and the safety of the animals. I hope you understand. Thanks so much for visiting and for the review.

We usually take out of town visitors to this museum. It's a good overview of agriculture in the Southwest. Interesting old farm equipment, live animals, artwork, rotating exhibits.

My kids and I really enjoyed both the outdoor exhibits learning about the animals and equipment and the inside exhibits, particularly the interactive ones. Also, the volunteers here are really nice and eager to help.

Beautiful museum and much more. If you live in the area you know that they have many events throughout the year. You can take a ride with a guide throughout the south 20 which is very informative and enjoyable, especially when the weather is nice....More

The permanent exhibit of Agriculture in the Mesilla Valley is very well done. We have also seen several temporary exhibits from quilts to saddle makers, that were also well done. Cowboy Days in March is fun and informative.
