Being from out of town, I guess we went here at the wrong time of year. The Rio Grande was completely dried up. Not a drop of water was to be found. Everything was brown and uninviting. The goat head thorns were horrible!! They were...More

Nothing like running along the mighty Rio on a cool crisp morning. The trail is smooth and easy to follow.

A beautiful river park along the Rio Grande where ducks, herons, egrets and other river creatures can be appreciated. A nice 3 mile hiking/biking trail allows participants to enjoy every season of the year.

Being a coastal transplant, I miss the water! We were delighted to find the Rio full and the walking trails and playgrounds are well maintained.

We took a night run with flashlights. Like the long, flat trail with river views at different sections. Had it all to ourselves.

Best place for a level run in the city. Not too busy and right along the river. Would love to spend more time there!

I started the wide pedestrian/bike trail here and headed north first to check it out. Very nice and it connects to another couple of choices if you want to continue on. Then I reversed and headed south. I didn't get to the other end since...More
