Excellent City Park-Great Bike trails
Jun 2020 • Couples
We were so impressed with this Park! Beautiful sites, informative, & great garden area! Probably the nearest Park within city limits we have ever been to! Lots of sites, shade, & bicycle friendly!

Great Park!
Sep 2019
Visited the park while visiting my brother.
Wonderful park and full of wildlife. Spent time watching the deer eat the apples that have fallen off the trees and watched the prairie dogs come in and out of their holes. Fed them a few peanuts.
Found a geocache too.

Pleasant river walk with a nice Veteran's Memorial
Sep 2019
We had about an hour to do something and the river walk was great for filling that time - enjoyed the river, forest and geese flying low overhead. Came across the veteran memorial and enjoying reading about previous conflicts and seeing the spinning globe in the middle of the site. Well done Farmington!

Awesome Trails!
May 2019
I walk these trails at least twice a week sometimes more. Nice nature walk along the Animas River. It's always clean other than the dog poop that some unthinking people leave behind while walking their dogs. There are plenty of trash recepticles and even plastic bags available. Thankfully this isn't a huge problem as most folks know what to do.

A beautiful walk

Berg Park is a well kept walking or biking trail. We've seen people on horseback, too. You can see all kinds of wildlife. We've seen deer, elk, eagles, geese, ducks, and watch out for skunks. Some people geocache there. Berg Park is a great place to get your steps in and really enjoy doing it.

This park is a safe place to walk, jog or ride a bicycle. There is more the one trail to enjoy a lot of wild life.

I loved this place!
May 2018 • Solo
Maybe it's because I live in South Florida where we don't have woods, forest or rivers but I so enjoyed this place.
The trails are kept in good shape and marked well. There are places to sit, a nature center, an animal shelter and lots of wildlife.
It's pretty fun to watch the Praire dogs running around and squeaking!
I would be here every day if I lived in this area.
If you geocache there's a few here.

Lots of trails to walk, run, bike. Pet friendly. The parks department even provides bags to pick up pet waste!
Splash pad and a couple of playgrounds.

Clean it up Farmington!
Jul 2018 • Couples
Wow! Farmington has the potential to have this beautiful river walk trail but the garbage on the trail just ruins it! We started at the start by Boyd and walked 2 miles on it. We actually turned around because their were more than 1 group of vagrants (3+) asking for money. Scary area, river on one side & the hotels and businesses all gated up on the other side. Clean it up and take some pride in your community Farmington! Time to organize a clean up!! We were there on a Monday afternoon.
