We stopped to see this museum and now wish that we had more time. We only got to see about half of the museum in the almost two hours that we were there before it closed. It was amazing to see all that was there, from dolls to items of history in the local area. The other thing that made... More

The Indian collections of ceramics and baskets are outstanding. It was just amazing and went on and on. We very strongly recommend this museum to anyone with an interest in... More

Logically it covers the area from the before the railroad to today, From Camp Cody prior to WWI, the Army Air Force pilot training field during WWII to the New Mexicans that lived and died on the Bataan Death March. If you enjoy history it's only 5... More

This is a surprisingly large place given that Deming is a very small city. There is a lot of history here, and this museum shows it very well. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.

I never expected the quality of the items within the Deming Museum. They had a multitude of collections from a dolls, spoons, ancient fire equipment, cars, military, and town history. The collections are very well presented and they recommend a specific viewing order to see everything within a four hour window. Even though we only had an hour and half,... More

The exhibits were varied and displayed in a manner that enhanced the museum experience. There is no cost for entry and the staff is friendly.
