There are two winery’s in Deming, New Mexico. Both are nice, but, to me, St Clair’s is the nicer of the two. If you only have time to go to one of them, I would go to St Clair’s. I will admit it right up front, Deming is not my favorite town in New Mexico. How there ended up being... More

What a wonderful way to top off a day exploring NM! This lovely winery has a comfortable tasting room and very reasonable cost for sampling. The staff (Terri) are super friendly and will spend time with you talking about the wines as well as local information. This is the largest and oldest winery in NM. Free music and dancing on... On our way through Deming we saw the sign for the St. Clair winery and tasting room. It was 102 degrees outside, so why not. The tasting was excellent and our hostess was a fountain of local history as well as knowledgeable of each wine. A perfect place to wet your whistle.

We were driving from California to Texas. We saw billboards for the St. Clair Winery and decided to pull off the highway and take a break. Smart move. The winery is just a few miles off the 10 highway. It's modern and has a very friendly atmosphere. I guess they charged for tasting, but they never asked us to pay... More

We had visited this Winery about 10 years ago and had a great time. So, we decided to go back and check it out during this trip through Deming. The setting has gotten much fancier. The tasting and sales room is very pretty and pleasant. Our server was very nice and cordial. They have a nice tasting listing with very... More

I have lived in Napa can so done a lot of wine tasting. This is a really fun time. We tasted two wines each one ounce pours and free. Then we shared a six flight one ounce pours. Reasonably priced.

We ended up taking home a bottle of Gewurtztraminer and one of Moscato. Both excellent! The tasting room at the winery was fun! All the help wore smiles and a positive attitude. Made me think that this might be a fun place to work. They were great, helpful, accommodating, and eager to help. Nice stop!

2 tastes. Additional cost for a flight. Wine by the glass or bottle. Cheese/sausage trays available for purchase. We stopped Oct 2014 and bought a Cab-Zin blend & Mimbres red. This time Reserve Zinfandel & a Cabernet. Staff was friendly, the shop was busy. Saw some of the other guests down the road later at Adobe Deli Steakhouse.
