Even though one sign said they were open on Tuesday, it appears that Friday/Saturday are the open days. There are several things to see inside, but outside is treasure trove of older buildings and history. Don't muss the Wuersching building and exhibits in the back or the old 16 Springs school.
Very peaceful, educational and enjoyable!

Open only on Friday and Saturday during the winter, as are many attractions in the area. The town of Lincoln also has limited hours as well. Check their website before going!

This little museum is well kept and very informative. The ladies that work there are very nice. We went when they were preparing for Halloween....really cute for the trick or treaters. You take a self-directed tour and it really doesn't take all that long to go through.

What a fun way to spend an afternoon. This museum is for all ages. There are buildings to walk in/out. Machines outside. A little of this and a little of that. I will be going back again and again. You cannot take it all in in one visit.

The pioneer village, their living history events, and lectures are my favorite part of this museum. I appreciate so much all the people involved in the efforts to preserve local history. What a great job they are doing!

It would be better with costumed docents to make the architecture come alive. Great place to experience live music. They should advertise their wedding chapel better for events!

Excellent pioneer exhibits... the historical items and buildings are displayed very well. All are fascinating! There's much more to see than you'd expect when you first arrive. A great museum and grounds to stroll around. We highly recommend it!

This Museum includes 6-8 historical buildings that have been moved to the site and have been restored to represent their original purpose. There is a schoolhouse, a barber, a chapel, a blacksmith and so forth. Wandering around is interesting. Try to go on a day when docents provide demonstrations.

I was impressed by how much the Village has improved the museum. There are more buildings and exhibits than the last time I went and everything is nicely kept. The new 16 Springs Schoolhouse is a great addition which I think schoolteachers will really enjoy seeing.
The gift shop has some interesting materials for history buffs. The fee was only $5.

We were pleasantly surprised that such a small town had this nice of a museum. In addition to the building that you can see from the street there is also six more buildings behind the main museum each of which have a history. Well worth the minor fee to get in.
